I was in my room doodling in my sketchbook when my mom called me from the kitchen.
"What is it mom?" I shouted from my room.
"Can you come here and help me bake these cookies sweetie" She said.
I got up from my desk and went to the kitchen, "Why are you making so many cookies mom?" I asked.
"Oh honey it's just for the neighbors who are moving in next door today."
I wondered who it was because it had been so long since someone moved in next door. I wore an apron quickly and went to the kitchen counter and stared making cookie dough balls with my mom. As I thought the right time to tell my parents that I didn't want to go to med school. What I really wanted was in fact going to a really famous art school in London. I wanted to become an artist, I enjoyed sketching and painting since I were a kid. God I loved art so much. But my parents would never approve me choosing art as a career they would call it "unreasonable".
I think about this a lot more often these days and it's making me sick. I don't know how to tell my parents about my dream, it will disappoint them. If go to med school I would never be happy and if I pursue art I would fail as a son.
