Chapter 18: An Emotional Reunion

It's been a day now since the battle of the bands. Twilight was back in her castle in Equestria with her friends. They were all doing their own thing. Twilight was reading a book but was down in the dumps since returning. She was missing you. Then a Pegasus messenger came in.

Pegasus: Letter for Twilight from Princess Celestia.

Twilight looks up from her book.

Twilight: Oh. Thank you.

Twilight then opens the letter that was from Sunset. She read it and was surprised by your name being on the letter. Then Applejack comes over to read it.

Applejack: Looks like that boyfriend of yours is missing ya.

Twilight: Yeah. He is missing me. Just like I miss him.

Twilight then starts to cry a little. The other ponies gathered around her.

Rarity: Princess Twilight, darling, what's wrong?

Applejack: She's just missin her boyfriend from the other world.

Rainbow Dash: Oh, that's why she's upset.

Spike then joins in.

Spike: What's wrong, Twilight?

Applejack: She's just missin someone special.

Spike: (Y/N)?

Rarity: How did you know that, Spikey-Wikey?

Spike: I miss him, too. Not in the way that Twilight misses him, but as a friend.

Twilight: There's a lot that happened to him when I went back. See, here's what happened.

Before Twilight could explain, Pinkie had a hunch.

Pinkie Pie: He was an immortal being who had ten lives, but now he was down to his last one. Then a figure named Death appeared and wanted to take his last life away because your boyfriend didn't have the best lives, and instead of fighting back, he ran away. But then he became under the control of the King of Dragons until you and the others brought him back. Then he fought against Death and was sparred. Then he fights the King of Dragons and he becomes the new King of Dragons?!?!

Twilight and Spike drop their jaws.

Fluttershy: (timid) I don't think it's that, Pinkie.

Twilight: No. She's spot on. How did you know that?

Pinkie Pie shrugs and says

Pinkie Pie: Just a hunch.

The other girls were surprised.

Rainbow Dash: Wait a second, he's a king now?

Twilight: Somewhere in the future, he's going to be a king.

Rarity: And why does that upset you?

Twilight: (sighs) Because I know he wanted me to be his queen, and I still am, but I'm not with him.

The girls then go to comfort Twilight. They knew how much Twilight meant to you.

Twilight: I just wish I could be in two places at once.

Spike: Maybe there is a way. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna might know the answers. 

Twilight looks at Spike.

Twilight: You might be right. Maybe a visit from her would help. She might have an answer to my problem. Let's go see her.
