"Casey, we haven't talked in ages! How's life?" I asked him as I recognised a familiar face.

"Oh hey Ella, I have so many things to tell you, how about I take you to the local coffee shop so I can tell you." He replied, his face lightened up with joy.

I agreed, of course. We used to date but I moved away from California to Britain. It was terrible but we had to face the fact that we were never gonna see eachother again so we split up. It was just a coincidence that I met him today and I'm so glad that he remembers me.

"So what brought you back to America?" He asked before taking a sip of his still hot coffee.

"I felt homesick, I felt lost, I missed everything about California so I came back here to live." I explained to him still grinning at the fact that we were reunited.

He lifted up his head and his soft brown eyes narrowed slightly, "Did you miss me?" He said still smiling and his cheeks were now a rosy red.

"Of course I missed you Case, you're one of the main reasons that I returned here to California. You're such a dork." I giggled at the last part.

"But I'm your dork, right?" He said looking at me in pure admiration.

Casey and I talked all the way back to my flat, it was only 15 minutes of walking but being by his side again made me happier than I've ever been before.

We had arrived at my doorstep and he told me that he had to go soon. He pulled me into a tight hug. "God I missed this" I whispered to him, he mumbled back "so did I Ella, so did I".

When we finally let go of each other he said to me, "I would like to take you out a date... uhh dates, more than one, I want to get to know you again. So if it's alright with you, I would like to take you out on a date every day of this month, starting tomorrow." Although I didn't need persuasion he did puppy dog eyes and pouted a little, who could resist?

I replied with, "I will see you tomorrow then, sweetpea" I giggled as he blushed.

And just before he dashed off he kissed me sweetly on my cheek.
