the room fell into silence. Zack stared at Rian as he revealed who the criminal was. The person he trusted, and put his life in their hands. "no" Zack said in disbelief. "tell me you're lying Rian!" Zack exclaimed, almost begging,

The room felt like it was closing in on Zack. His breaths became shallow, and his chest tightened with an unrelenting pressure. It started as a subtle unease, but soon, an overwhelming wave of anxiety crashed over him. He felt as if he couldn't escape the invisible grip that was constricting his every breath.

Zack's hands trembled as he clutched Alex's hand in his own, his knuckles turning white. His vision blurred, and the sounds around him became distant echoes. Despite the efforts of his friends to keep the atmosphere light, Zack was losing touch with the present moment. His heart raced, pounding in his ears like a relentless drum. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead, and a cold chill ran down his spine. The once-familiar hospital room now seemed foreign and threatening.

Rapid, erratic thoughts raced through Zack's mind, each one intensifying the panic. His thoughts became a chaotic jumble, making it impossible to focus on anything but the overwhelming sense of impending doom.

Alex, sensing the shift in Zack's demeanour, immediately reached out, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Zack, you're okay."

But Zack couldn't find the words to respond. His throat felt tight, and any attempt to speak was drowned in the turbulent sea of anxiety. He felt a disconnection from reality, a desperate struggle against an invisible force that seemed to have consumed him.

As the panic attack peaked, Zack's body trembled uncontrollably. Each breath became a struggle, and he felt a deep ache in his chest.

Rian, sensing the severity of the revelation, quickly fetched a nurse. The medical professional approached with a calming demeanour, offering reassurance and guidance to help Zack regain control.

Slowly, with the support of his friends and the medical team, the intensity of the panic attack began to wane. Zack's breathing, though still uneven, gradually steadied. The room, which had felt like a claustrophobic space just moments ago, began to regain its normal dimensions.Zack, exhausted and emotionally drained, leaned back against the hospital bed, grateful for the understanding and support surrounding him. The aftermath of the panic attack left him vulnerable, but with the caring presence of his friends, he felt a glimmer of stability returning to the room.

Jack's body twitched as he heard the name fall out of Rian's lips, his hand covered his mouth "what the-" Jack muttered "what's the charges?"

"Assult, attempted murder and similar offences" Rian explained as he rubbed Jack's back.

Jack's eye snapped open as he slowly sat up, shocked to hear about the charges that the police had given. He let out a soft moan as he leaned back in the hospital bed, a wave of pain rushing over his body.

Rian sat in silence as he fidgets in place looking at the floor in silence.

Zack stood up as he goes to the hospital door, closing the door quietly shutting the group away from the rest of the hospital.

As Zack sat back down in Alex's lap he spoke reluctantly "we're not safe" Zack stated

"You mean you're not safe" jack corrected.

Zack shook his head "no I mean we're not safe" he said.

They sit in silence trying to figure out what their next steps were
