Alex couldn't help but admire his fiance as he was working out. Sweat glistened in the sunlight, as Zack worked out. "my fiance is damn ripped" Alex purred proudly.

Zack blushed as he looked at Alex "babe-" Zack whispered. "No" He mumbled covering his face with the towel as he wiped away the sweat.

Alex smiled innocently "Anyway, I came down because I have the perfect wedding venue" Alex said lovingly

Zack looked at Alex "oh?" he asked.

"it's a barn/outdoor venue" Alex explained "it's also close to a beach" He expressed as he walked over showing Zack some photos. "it's a bit big isn't it?" Zack asked frowning as he looked at the photos.

Alex's eyes sparkled with excitement as he presented the photos. "I know it seems big, but trust me, it's perfect. Just imagine exchanging vows under the open sky, surrounded by nature and the people we love. Plus, it has this rustic charm that I think will suit us perfectly."

Zack studied the images, his initial skepticism giving way to a thoughtful expression. The barn venue, adorned with fairy lights, looked enchanting, and the proximity to the beach added a touch of natural beauty to the setting.

"I guess it does have a certain charm," Zack conceded, a small smile playing on his lips. "And having it close to the beach sounds amazing."

Alex grinned, encouraged by Zack's warming response. "I thought you might like that part. Plus, it gives us the option of having a beach photoshoot right after the ceremony. Imagine the stunning pictures we could have with the sunset over the ocean."

Zack's eyes lit up at the thought, and he couldn't help but share in Alex's enthusiasm. "Alright, Lex, you've convinced me. The barn venue it is."

Alex pulled Zack into a celebratory hug, unable to contain his joy. "I knew you'd love it! It's going to be the perfect backdrop for the beginning of our happily ever after."

As they continued to plan their wedding, the anticipation of the big day filled the air with a sense of excitement. With the charming barn venue and the allure of the nearby beach, Alex and Zack could already envision the magic and romance that would unfold on their special day.

Zack sighed softly as he leaned his head against Alex's shoulder "I just wish Nicole could be there" he said sadly thinking back to some old memories of himself and his twin before she was murdered.

"I know baby" he mumbled "I know" he whispered "but she'll be there in spirit" he said.

"It's not the same" Zack mumbled "It's... it's not fair that she's gone- as depressing as it sounds I wish I was there that day, I wish I died" he mumbled.

Alex held Zack close, listening to him talk about his true feelings, instead of hiding them as he had done for far too long. "go to therapy Z" Alex said, "it'll help" he insisted.

Alex tightened his embrace, his heart aching for Zack's pain. "I understand, Z," he whispered softly. "Losing Nicole was a devastating tragedy, and I can't imagine how heavy that burden is for you. But you don't have to carry it alone."

Zack let out a heavy sigh, appreciating the comfort Alex offered. "I just miss her, you know? Especially during moments like these, when we're planning a significant part of our lives, and she should have been a part of it."

Alex gently lifted Zack's chin, ensuring their eyes met. "Nicole will always hold a special place in your heart, and she'll be with us in spirit. But, Z, it's okay to seek help. Therapy might provide a space for you to navigate these emotions and find healing. You deserve that."

Zack nodded, a mixture of gratitude and vulnerability in his eyes. "I've been avoiding it for so long, but maybe it's time. I want to be in a better place for us, for our future."

Alex smiled, pressing a gentle kiss on Zack's forehead. "I'm here for you every step of the way, and therapy can be a tool to help us build an even stronger foundation. Let's face it together." Zack nodded, knowing that taking this step was not just for himself but for the life he was building with Alex. The weight of the past, though heavy, began to feel a bit more manageable as they embraced the idea of seeking help and healing together.

It had been a little bit over a year since the couple got engaged and so much had happened in a year. The four men had moved back to the states, Maryland, closer to their parents. The couple had bought their own house. Zack had inherited a large sum of money that no one saw coming, considering his relationship with his parents. Rian and Jack had started 'dating.' They weren't official yet after six months, they call it friends with benefits, yet still went on weekly dates, moved in together and generally celebrated like a couple.

Zack and Alex's new house became a sanctuary, a place filled with love and warmth. The walls echoed with laughter, shared meals, and the comforting presence of each other. Their relationship had blossomed, strengthened not only by the challenges they had faced but also by the shared dreams and goals they were now building together.

One unexpected twist in Zack's life had been the inheritance of a substantial sum of money. The revelation had initially taken everyone by surprise, Zack included. It turned out to be a gift from a distant relative who had recognized the hardships Zack had faced. The unexpected windfall allowed them to plan their wedding with fewer financial constraints, turning the event into a celebration of love and resilience.

Meanwhile, the dynamics between Rian and Jack had evolved into something more profound than their initial "friends with benefits" arrangement. Their connection had deepened over the months, and the unspoken feelings became increasingly evident. The weekly dates, moving in together, and the undeniable sense of commitment painted a picture of a couple in the making. One evening, while gathered in their living room, Alex couldn't help but tease Rian. "So, when are you two going to make it official? You're practically married already!"

Rian shot Jack a playful glare, but there was a twinkle in his eye. "You know, some things are better left unsaid. We're happy where we are."
Jack chuckled, placing an arm around Rian's shoulders. "Sure, sure. But you can't deny you've caught the lovebug."

The group laughed, enjoying the easy camaraderie that had become a cornerstone of their lives. As they shared stories and dreams for the future, the realization dawned on them—no matter where life took them, the bond they shared was unbreakable. The journey from chaos and uncertainty to the stability of their present had created a tapestry of enduring friendship and love. And in the heart of Maryland, surrounded by the people they cherished most, they found a place to call home. Zack leaned his head on Alex's shoulder.

"besides shouldn't we be discussing your wedding its right around the corner!" Rian exclaimed in excitement.

"we're technically already married" Alex said, "This is just a family celebration, we've done the official marriage and got the marriage certificate" Alex said with a small grin on his face.

"Yeah but we'll be celebrating the unofficial wedding-" Zack said kissing Alex's lip. "plus neither of us is wearing the rings" Zack added "That's for the wedding"

Rian chuckled "I bet your mum can't wait Lex" Rian said fondly.

"she can't, she hasn't shut up about this week, worried something is going to be wrong" He responded.
