The moon is shining right above my head
It turns the darkness in my room red
Tears dance at the corner of my eyes
I press my head harder against the floor of cold ice
Destiny plays many games
I wonder if in my favour it will throw me gems
I build bricks round my heart
Telling myself that it won't hurt
convincing me to accept my own fate
But why is pain making my face all wet
Oh destiny prove me that you are kind
Say in my decisions you won't interfere and mind
Oh destiny please be my friend
Show me some love and kill this pain to end
