Chapter 47

A few weeks later and early in the morning, both Lando and Arribella are cuddled up asleep in bed in their new Monaco apartment. The Bristol girls recovery was going better than expected and she was doing well in physical therapy.

As they cuddled under their cozy bedsheets, Lando wakes up to the sound of Kaylie's cries. He looks at Arri stir to the sound of the infants cries before quickly reaching over his girlfriend and taking his daughter into his arms, settling her down. "Do you want me to take her?" Arri asks, her voice deep with sleep. "No. I've got Kay. You go back to sleep, love." Lando whispers, kissing the girls hair as she nods and lays back on his chest and falls asleep.

The brunette driver knew that when he returns to racing, he would come home to two gorgeous girls and a perfect home life with a little family he and Arribella have began to create. Until then, he was staying off a little longer and returning for the Dutch Grand Prix which was taking place after the summer break. Once he managed to settle Kaylie back to sleep, Lando carefully lays in her bedside cot before placing his arm around Arribella as he falls back to sleep aswell.

With a little lie in, Arribella wakes up before the sleeping boy under her. She turns and sees Kaylie beside her awake. "Morning baby." the girl whispers as she takes the baby into her arms. "Is it feeding time for you?" Arri smiles at her daughter who lets out a little whimper.

While she's sat against the headboard of the bed, breastfeeding Kaylie, Lando stirs and lays hi head on Arribella's lap. While holding Kaylie in one arm, the fingertips of the other running through his hair. "Mmm, morning love." Lando smiles as he rolls onto his back and looks at her. "Morning. I'm just feeding Kaylie then we can go down for breakfast." Arribella smiles as shes the infant onto her shoulder and burps her. "Oh, that's a loud one." she smiles at her daughter who's only a few weeks old.

Lando smiles as he look at his daughter and girlfriend, knowing he made the right decision to stay as Arri recovered and to start a family with her, despite her risking her health to bring their baby into the world. He admires as she sits with their little girl in her arms while he laid on her lap.

"Let me take Kaylie for a bit while you make us drinks." the mclaren driver smiles as he sits up and takes the little girl from Arri and cuddles her in his arms. The young mum changes before taking her daughter back for a brief moment as Lando changed into some clothes.

The couple head downstairs and as she makes a herself and Lando something to drink, Arribella pumps some of her breast milk for Kaylie's next drink. "Okay. Here's your coffee and I'm pumping ready for Kay's next feed." Arribella smiles as she sits beside Lando. The boy nods as he places his coffee on the table while looking at the baby in his arms.

"I can't get over how cute she is. We created her and she's perfect." Lando smiles in awe. "We sure have one adorable kid and we did create her. Our little baby." Arribella smiles as she looks at the little baby in Lando's arms. The young couple knew that they would love to expand their family but it would be risky considering the effects the pregnancy with Kaylie had on Arribella's body. "I love you." Lando smiles, looking at his girlfriend and leaning in, placing a gentle kiss in her lips.

Arribella smiles into the kiss before kissing him back. "I love you too." she smiles, laying her head on his shoulder while her cup sat steadily in her hands. "This is us. Me, you and Kaylie. Our little perfect family." Lando smiles, laying his head ontop of Arribella's. "Yeah. I can't wait for her to go to watch you at the grand prix when we can join you." Arribella smiles, taking a sip of he drink before removing one hand from her cup and gently placing it on Kaylie's stomach.

The new parents spent the day enjoying the quiet moment as the shared the duties of the house chores between them. While Arri would feed Kaylie, Lando would prepare some food for himself and his girlfriend. The routine they found was pretty quick and it didn't take long for them to adapt to it. As they sat in the living room, Kaylie slept in the crib beside Lando as he and Arri cuddled up on the sofa. The fashion brand owner nestled into his chest with his arm comfortably around her.

"Arri?" he asks, not hearing a peep from her for a while. When he looks down to her on his chest, he couldn't help but smile as he noticed her asleep. The McLaren driver kisses the top of her head before adjusting himself so he was laid on the sofa and she was between his legs. "Sleep well, love." he whispers, pulling the blanket over her and turning the lamp and TV off, gently stroking her hair as he slowly fell asleep himself.
