TWO YEARS LATER

"Mammy! Mammy! Are we going to watch daddy?" the now 2-year-old Kaylie asks, running over to her mum. "We sure are baby. Are you excited?" Arribella asks, lifting her daughter onto her lap as she was busy doing her makeup. It was her first appearance at the track since having Kaylie as her recovery from her eclampsia surgery hit bumps in the road and set her return to the grand prix's even further back. But, it meant that she could stay with Kaylie while Lando was away and watch from home. And not only was it Arribella's first race back since Kaylie's birth but it was the 2-year-olds first ever grand prix race.

As Kaylie sat on her lap, Arribella finished doing her makeup as placed a little kiss on her daughters cheek before applying some lipgloss. "Mummy pretty." the little girl giggles as she looks at the reflection of herself and her mum in the mirror. "And you are too, sweetheart." the girl smiles, tapping her finger against her daughters nose causing the little brunette girl to giggle. "Go and pick which teddy you want to take to the track with you, Kay." Arribella says, placing Kaylie on the floor and she runs over to her teddies. "I want to take this one." Kaylie grins, holding up a stuffed teddy in Lando's McLaren gear.

The mother-daughter duo head to the F1 track in Miami and could hear the fans screaming and shouting for the drivers as the arrived. "Come on. Lets sit you on hip so we don't lose you." Arribella smiles as she takes Kaylie into her arms, the little girl giggling. "Can we see uncle Carlos?" Kaylie asks. "Sure. And we can see uncle Charles at the same time. Even better, we could stop off at a few of the teams hospitalities before we go meet daddy." Arribella smiles.

If there was one thing that made her weekend or even day, it was seeing Kaylie's smile when she got to see her uncles. As they arrived at the paddock which was a short drive from the hotel they were staying, Arribella scanned her paddock pass with Kaylie sat on her hip. For an early fridau afternoon, the paddock was already fairly busy as the mother-daughter duo squeeze their way through the crowd towards Ferrari's hospitality.

"Uncle Carlos! Uncle Charlie!" Kaylie exclaims as she sees the duo and tries to wiggle out of her mothers arms. "Calm down, Kay. Mummy will put you down in a minute." Charles laughs as he watches Kaylie trying to escape Arribella's arms. "Here, come to uncle Carlos." the older driver laughs, holding his arms out for the little girl.

"I know she's an excited girl, but she really kicks in places that hurt." Arribella laughs, holding her ribs. "She's just excited to be at her first race and watch her daddy drive." Carlos smiles, Kaylie's little arms around his neck. "Charlie, are Owie and Athu here?" Kaylie questions the other driver. The young girl still couldn't say Arthur or Ollie's names but could still make out who she's talking about.

"I think they're in the F2 paddock, Kay." Carlos sadly smiles. "Stop lying Carlos." a voice very similar to Charles' says. "Athu, Owie." Kaylie smiles. "Hey kiddo. Excited to watch your daddy?" Ollie questions. "Well, considering she brought her stuff Lando teddy with her, it's a definite yes." Arribella smiles as Arthur hugs her before Ollie does. "Good to see your back and around in the paddock." Arthur smiles. "It's good to be home again despite all the set backs. And this one is very excited to be at her first race." Arribella smiles, gently rubbing Kaylie's cheek.

After visiting a few more of the teams hospitalities, Arribella and Kaylie eventually arrived at the McLaren hospitality. "Daddy!" the little brunette girl smiles as her mum places her on the ground and she runs over to Lando. "Hey baby. Are you excited for the weekend?" the driver smiles, taking his daughter into his arms. "Yeah! Me and mummy saw uncle Carlos, uncle Charlie and a lot of the others." Kaylie smiles. "Wow, that's so cool. And now your here to spend time with daddy?" Lando smiles as he places his free arm around Arribella's waist.

"Well, we only have one main man in our lives." Arribella smiles. "Other than my mother and sisters, I have two important girls in mine too." Lando smiles aswell, planting a soft kiss on his girlfriend's cheek.

The weekend as a whole seemed to flash by. Kaylie enjoyed her first race and was always exhausted by the end of the day and would fall asleep on Arribella's shoulder as she carried her back to their hotel.

With the little girl fast asleep in the single bed side them, Lando and Arribella laid on their bed watching the TV on low volume, cuddled up together. "This weekend has been amazing. Kaylie loved it, I love having both of you with me. I couldn't have asked for anything more." Lando smiles, his fingertips running along the side of Arribella's body. "I love this little life. Me, you and Kaylie. One happy little family." the fashion brand owner smiles. "Yeah. This little life is perfect." Lando agrees.
