What Are You Waiting For

Im hungry

It was hot outside as me and my friend Mariah left the school building. "Im hungry" I said. Mariah glanced at me and said "You're always hungry it's nothing new". I looked around to see if there was anyone on the bus stop that had snacks. Luckily there was 2 boys not far from us that had a whole bag of snacks. " I'll be right back" I told her as I made my way towards them. I put on my best smile as I approached them." Hi I'm Ari I've never seen you around here. Do you go to a different school or something". That was a lie I've seen them around alot. There like 2 peas in a pod. But that's the best way to start the conversation. " Umm yeah we just started here I'm Kendrick" The one with the snacks said as his friend nodded. " And I'm Adrian." I nodded at him as Kendrick pulled out a bag of Hot Cheetos. We stood in silence for a couple minutes until Kendrick broke it. "Do you want the rest. I didn't want them in the first place." I looked at him and said sure as I took the bag. We talked for a couple minutes until Mariah walked over to us. "Ari how are you just gonna leave me all by myself" Oh I'm sorry I forgot but meet my new friends Kendrick and Adrian." I said as I introduced them to her. She simply said hi back and asked where I get the chips from. "Kendrick. Do you want some" She said sure and took some. " Where is the bus. It's too hot and I wanna go home."Mariah complained. A couple moments later I saw a bus coming up the street. "There it go" I said, relieving everyone. We got on the bus and sat next to each other. We talked about the basics like our favorite pizza toppings and or favorite food and stuff. After about 5 or 10 minutes I rung the bell to signal the bus to stop."Hey Ari you getting off here?" Adrian asked "You live right by the school you could've walked home instead of waiting on the bus to come" "Yeah I know but I'm not a big fan of walking" I replied back. "Lazy" Mariah said under her breath but I didn't really mind since everyone calls me that. We said our goodbyes as I got off the bus. I watched the bus drive away as I walked into my house. The first person to say hi to me was my little sistern Skylar then Aaliyah and then Shalynn. I had another sister named Shontelle we went to the same school but I rarely saw her after school since she was on track team. I said hi back as I went into the kitchen and made me a sandwich. When I got upstairs I told my mom I was home and went to my room. Later on at dinner my mom said that her and my dad has an announcement to make. "OK so Umm this house is getting alot harder to afford with our budget. The rent is almost $2,000 and its just too much. So me and you're dad talked and we're thinking about moving somewhere cheaper or at least affordable"  I was kinda shocked because we just moved in this house last year but I shook it off. "So when are we moving out?" My older sister Shontelle asked. "Around mid November probably" My dad spoke up. After everyone was finish eating we cleaned up and we started to get ready for bed. I closed my eyes as I thought about what tomorrow would bring.

Ok so that's chapter 2. I know it seems boring but the beginning of the school year is always boring. But I promise that it'll get alot more interesting in later chapters. Chapter 3 will be up soon.
