"Hey! Are you alive in there?" the asian boy spoke into the walkie talkie again.

"You watch my back okay? And whats your name? I'm Glenn, get moving please." he wisper yelled at me urgently, but I pulled out my knife and was looking at his back side.

"Kayla, and the dumbass in the tank is Rick." i responded waiting to hear rick talk back on the walkie

Come on rick, please don't be dead.

Than i heard his sweet raspy voice over the radio."Hello? Hello?"

Glenn just looked back at me with a little smirk and brought the walkie to his mouth, "there you are. You had us wondering."

"Us? Is Kayla with you? Where are you? Outside?" he question rapidly

"Yeah, we can see you." Glenn poke his head around the conner. "You're surrounded by walkers, that's the bad news." he turned back into the alleyway and looked at me while saying the last bit.

"There's good news?" Rick question, witch I don't see any good news for him. It's really not looking good for Rick.

Glenn looked at me i guess to see if I see any good output for Rick, I motion for him to hand me the walkie. I brought it up to my mouth, "No." I said flattly and gave it back to Glenn

"Listen Kayla, and whoever your new buddy, I don't mind telling you I'm a little concerned here." he asserted.

"Oh man. You should see it from over here." I had my back to Glenn but I can tell he was shaking his head. "You'd be having a major freak-out, I'm surprised you little girl isn't."

"I'm not his." I spoke

"Got any advice for me?" Rick pleaded

"Tell him to run. There's no other way for him to get through." I said, my back still to the street but what else can he do?

"Your not little girl said run for it, and I agree." Glenn laughed but said in a worried tone also.

"That's it? 'Make a run for it'?" Rick questioned

"Hand it to me," I muttered but ripped the walkie out his hands and looked down the street. "Rick, how else do you think I got over here, get your head out your ass and move before it's too late." I barked into the walkie than handed it back to Glenn and had my back to the street again

"It's not as dumb as it sounds, you've got eyes on the outside here?" Glenn snapped "there's one geek still up on the tank but the others have climbed down and joined the feeding frenzy where the horse went down. With me so far?"

"So far."

"Okay the street on the other side of the tank is less crowded. If you move now while they're distracted you stand a chance. Got ammo?" Glenn added.

"In that duffle bag I dropped out there, and guns. Can I get to it?" Rick asked, oh only if you could without meeting death baby boy, if only.

"Forget the bag, okay?" Glenn sounds a lot more scared and nervous, the back way of the ally is clear but the streets are getting crowded. "It's not an option."

"Put the walkie to my mouth," I demanded, "Rick you have to move. I don't want to leave you or become lunch."

Glenn took the walkie back, "what do you have on you?"

"Hang on." There was silence for a good minute.

"Glenn, how's the street looking?" I whispered

"More and more geeks are surrounding the street. I can't poke around the corner without  drawing attention to myself. If anything happens, or when he gets here, run for that ladder and climb as fast as you can, got it? Don't look back, don't look down, get to the roof when I tell you to go."
