Julius Birche was a simple man. Except for the fact that he wasn't born a man.

Julius was born into a small town in Greece, long before anybody had even heard of it. It was a lovely, accepting town.. despite the fact that people believed that anything could anger the gods. Including going against your own body.

He believed that, even though he was born a woman, he just wasn't one. But that he wasn't a man either. He just existed. The people of his town didn't like that fact.

"You're angering the gods!"

"You'll ruin the town!"

All of the townsfolk yelled at Julius to stop pretending. But he never did.

The gods hated him for it. They took it upon themselves to punish him. The punishment being that, for going against his gods, he would become one. For all eternity, living as something he went against.

But the story is just getting started.
