Auther's POV:
Mila. Just a mere seven year old little girl. Born with despair and agony in her blood. She was, unfortunately, born as a bunny hybrid. Bunnies are very rare in this world. It's dangerous for them to exist. They are the rarest hybrids in the world, after all. People only want to hunt and sell them for high profit. They are tormented most of their lives, living in fear and pain. Mila's parents knew this all too well. When they saw their only child, their precise little girl was born a bunny hybrid. They made a vow to keep her safe from danger. They knew what kind of sick people were out there. Who would do anything to get their hands on a bunny hybrid. Especially one so young. So fruitful. So innocent.
Mila was raised a sheltered life. Growing up to know the dangers of the world before she could even know how to ride a bike. She was always filled with anxiety and fearful of everything because of this. Her parents did everything and anything to keep her safe and out of harms way. They wouldn't let their little girl grow up to only be taxidermied and put onto some sick mans mantel. It shattered their hearts to know that one day, their only daughter might be shot down and stuffed when she was only simply trying to live her life.
Now, here we are. Exactly seven years, three months, one week, five days, twenty-three minutes, and thirty-two seconds, after she was born. Hiding from hunters in her dark and cramped closet.
Almost fifteen minutes ago, hunters had busted down the doors of her small family home, which was located in a desolate part of the woods. It's very hard to find in the dense wooded area. Yet the hunters managed, too. And all to find the little bunny hybrid, Mila Kusuma.
When it first happened, her mother quickly hid her in her closet to remain hidden. Before rushing back out into the living room before the hunters noticed. The mother and father of Mila tried their best to get rid of the hunters but were not successful. They brought a knife to a gun fight. The hunters loaded their guns. The biggest one, He gave them one single chance to tell him where the bunny girl was or they'd be shot dead.
They refused. Saying they would rather die than it be their daughter. So with that, the hunters aimed their guns at Mila's parents' heads and shot them. Blood splattered everywhere. Soon, their bodies dropped to the floor.
After hearing the gunshots, Mila knew she had to act fast. Or else she just might be shot and taxidermied. She felt like crying. But not for herself. For her parents. Her mother and father. They died to protect her and only her. They loved her so much they gave their life for her. Mila wonders why. She wasn't special in any way, shape, or form. So why would they die for her? Nobody should care for one person that much, in her opinion. The world would be the same if she died.
