Author's pov
Shanaya woke up to the gentle caress of sunlight on her face. She blinked her eyes open and was pleasantly surprised to find Parth, her husband, peacefully sleeping on the bed. It had been more than a week after their marriage since she had seen him sleep in like this. As he would rush off to the office early in the morning. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she thought that maybe their conversation from the previous night had finally made an impact.
Feeling refreshed and excited for the day ahead, Shanaya got out of couch and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. She returned with her hair still wet, droplets glistening like tiny diamonds. Adorned in a beautiful saree, she couldn't help but steal a glance at Parth, who was still lost in sleep. As she began to towel-dry her hair, a few water droplets landed on Parth's face. He stirred, wiping the droplets away, and slowly opened his eyes.
Shanaya's outfit
To Parth's surprise, he was greeted by the sight of Shanaya, looking absolutely stunning in her traditional attire. The saree hugged her curves in all the right places, and her radiant smile illuminated the room. Shanaya was now applying vermilion. Parth's sleepiness vanished instantly, but he couldn't help but feel a desire to continue pretending to sleep, just so he could admire her in this moment of pure beauty without her noticing.
As Shanaya finished adorning herself with bangles, earrings, and a bindi, she realized that she had forgotten to wear her anklets. With a playful giggle, she sat on the couch and delicately fastened the anklets around her ankles. The soft tinkling sound filled the room, adding a touch of grace to her every step. Parth couldn't help but be captivated by her every move.
As he lay there, half awake, he couldn't help but watch her with a sense of calm. He didn't quite understand why, but seeing her brought him peace. When she left the room, the sound of her anklets echoed in the distance, fading away. He closed his eyes and smiled, enjoying the gentle melody of the fading anklets. It was a sound he found himself drawn to, a sound he truly liked.
Without wasting any time, he got up, knowing exactly what he needed to do that day. He freshened up, put on his professional attire, and looked incredibly handsome. He adjusted his collar, tied his tie, and adorned his wrist with a ravishing watch. As he opened his shoe rack, filled with his collection of shoes, he carefully selected a shiny, polished pair of professional shoes. With his outfit complete, he made his way out, ready to conquer the day.
