It was evident that he held the advantage, being able to exert control over me. Despite my resistance, I fought back with all my might, only to be overpowered and pinned to the floor, with his majesty stepping on me. I persisted in my efforts to resist, but eventually, I succumbed and lost consciousness.

As I opened my eyes, trying to piece together my memories, I found myself in a dimly lit room, constrained and unable to move. My attempts to break the chains resulted in not only pain but also a shocking current that made me scream in agony. After a few moments, my vision cleared, revealing Nathaniel behind the cell door. Although it appeared he couldn't hear or see me, I tried to call his name without success. Suddenly, a familiar figure entered his cell, assaulting Nathaniel and inflicting more wounds, exacerbating the ones already present. Despite witnessing this distressing scene, I couldn't vocalize a single word; pain gripped me as I saw him stab Nathaniel in the shoulder, and only a whispered cry escaped my lips.

After the man left, I identified him as the knight who had attacked Nathaniel at his mansion. Nathaniel's eyes seemed devoid of life, and the pain was unbearable, given that he held a special place in my heart. Closing my fist, I began the healing process. Even if he didn't perceive it, it would be a joyous world for me if he could return to himself, spending time with me, remaining by my side, and, most importantly, understanding me. In a hushed whisper, I declared, "I have to get him out of here, even at the cost of my life." It struck me suddenly—I couldn't die. According to the sorcerer, I could only succumb to natural causes, meaning neither the chains nor the emperor could end my life. Utilizing my power to glimpse into the future, I saw the same letter lying there. Now, I understood its significance—I had to

To break free from this place, I spent countless hours devising a plan. After a week of meticulous preparation, I observed the same man entering the door again to assault my beloved. This time, he ruthlessly stabbed Nathaniel in his right eye and heart. Nathaniel fell lifeless to the ground as the knight cackled and made his exit. In a desperate scream, I cried, "Nathaniel, don't die, you moron 😭." Witnessing him pulse in response to my scream, I fervently began to heal him before his heart ceased. In his last moments, he uttered, "Ah, even in my last moments, I can hear your voice, as if you're trying to stop me from dying... If you are here, I want to tell you what caused me to love you as much as I do. People might have claimed that I killed my parents, but the case was different... My father died at the hands of my mother after she found out that he was having affairs with other women, and later on, she died due to pneumonia. In one of my attempts to contact her, she cursed me that I would perish only after loving someone dearly. I found you, and you were the only one who loved me for who I am now..." Just as he dropped his hand, I went MAD, destroying everything around me, including the collar. Feeling my control and powers returning, I ran to him and laid him on my lap. He was still breathing, and tears from my eyes fell on his face. I healed him completely and kissed him. I wrote him a blood note on his hand, saying, "I WILL RETURN, DON'T DIE ON ME," and vanished without leaving a trace.

Duke's POV:

"Laura... don't leave me..." I whispered I could see her vanishing and suddenly his majesty there looking quite concerned as I regained consciousness. I got up slowly and saw the wall beside me blasted off and chains massacred along with blood splashed everywhere and most of all it was very dark there were no windows around. I looked inside and also saw a broken collar.......to my horror shock, it was Laura's. My eyes widened as I processed what had happened and my heart stopped for a

second. Did she have to go through this for 6 years of her life in complete darkness, pain, and endless suffering?..... as I was thinking of this his majesty came towards me demanding answers. I replied that all I knew was that knight Xander stabbing me in the heart and- somehow I was- alive and my wound was completely healed and... I saw her..vanishing...

"That's enough, let's search," declared the emperor, and once again, I found myself alone. That's when I noticed something written on my hand. It said, "I WILL RETURN, DON'T DIE ON ME," inscribed in blood. The scent of this blood wasn't that of a normal human; it was reminiscent of freshwater...?"

Disregarding this, I entered the room and began to explore. I came across some strange chants written on the wall but chose to overlook them. A sudden realization struck me—I couldn't die. I couldn't lose hope. She promised she would return. Could I put my faith in her?

As I pondered this, I was abruptly yanked out of the prison and placed in front of his majesty, who declared that I would be guillotined in two weeks. He smirked and departed. I... I'm going to die. I've never been this afraid of death before.

Laura's Perspective:

Where am I...?

This is...

"MOTHER!?" I screamed. As I reached out to her, she pointed towards my back... and disappeared. As I rubbed my eyes, I found myself in a forest and was met by a cute frog that jumped on my lap. It guided me towards a lake where a man with blond hair and blue eyes looked like a common villager. He asked me if I was Laura and introduced himself as Lucius Liam Frostreign. "Liam, is that you?" I questioned him, remembering the old library mate I used to hang out with. "No, I am not him, Your Majesty, but I do know him pretty well," he replied. I have more questions now. How did he know my name, and why did he address me as "Your Majesty"? He guided me to a mystical-looking village where people had divine powers just like I DID. Although there weren't many people, I was pretty shocked to find out that this actually existed. Even after seeing all this, the thought of Nathaniel stayed in my mind... What would happen to him? Why did I leave him? What's going on back there? I couldn't stop thinking about him when I suddenly fell to the ground my eyes reddened once again. Something was definitely wrong.

Duke's Perspective:

As I was taken back to my cell, his majesty stopped me once again. He offered a deal. He said, "If you bring her back and agree to forget you ever loved her, she will be in good hands."
