Anna's Story

Anna's Pov
Hi I'm Anna. Up untill now i had brain cancer. The cancer was in my temporal lobe where it affected my ability to walk. So now i had brain cancer and I'm paralyzed but that is besides the point. What I'm here to tell you is how i met Alex. I was being pushed out of the hospital when he wheeled in. We had talked a couple of times before but nothing like this conversation. He had also been diagnosed with brian cancer when he was 6 and managed to live another ten years. He was also in a wheelchair like i was and and he looked adorable. His wheelchair is light blue with black wheels. Mine is bright green with black wheels. Everytime we would talk to each other we could never find anything to talk about untill one day when he asked me to be his girlfriend. I couldn't help but say yes. Once we were officially dating a lot of fear rushed through me like a storm with really strong wind. What if the cancer comes back? What if it is my time to die and we will never see each other again? All these questions rushed through my head and I'm pretty sure there were going to be more questions. I must have zoned out by then because Alex was calling my name. "ANNA,ANNNNNNA, hey what's going on up in that pretty little head of yours?" Alex said with lots of joy. "Nothing i just....nothing never mind." I said to him. He looked confused but he just shrugged it off. Anyways, we finally left the hospital hand in hand to go on our first date. He was taking me to go see the new movie Tomorrowland. I think that had something to do with Disney but i wasn't sure. So once we got to the movies we got our popcorn and soda and went to the handicapped spot of ther theater. Before the movie started he pulled me out of my wheelchair and onto his lap so we could be close to each other. As the movie started he wasn't paying attention to the movie he was looking at my eyes and then down to my lips and then back at my eyes. I looked back at him the same way as he leaned in. As our lips collided, sparks flew and i knew he was the one. By then we weren't paying any attention to the movie we were kissing most of the time. After the movie was over we headed back to my house wher he asked if he asked if he could stay over. I told him sure as we wheeled into the house. We got to my room and went over to my bed where he picked himself up first and plopped down onto my bed. He then helped me onto his lap again. He did the same thing that he did at the movie theater. He looked at my eyes then at my lips then at my eyes again. I kissed him and it felt good to. We kissed for a while as he layed me down and continued to kiss me. Layed there kissing for a few minutes and i finally pulled away. I told him "I need to go to bed now and so do you we have radiation tomorrow." So we went to bed together hand in hand. But that is when the questions started to rush through my head again and i could only think about that the whole time. I eventually got to sleep though. The next morning i woke up and Alex was already up. "Good morning beautiful, did you sleep well?" He said with a huge smile on his face. "Of course not. I had alot of questions run through my head again" I told him "what kind of questions?" He asked. I didn't want to tell him about the questions that were in my head. "Just go home and forget about last night ill explain later. And with that he was in his wheelchair and out of the house. And that was the last time i saw Alex. He must have been mad at me or didn't want talk to me anymore. But I'mjust getting started with my story ther is more but your going to have to figure it out.
