The Tyranids are the most fearsome creatures known to man, they have massive scythe like claws and huge razor sharp teeth. Some of the tyranids have biological enhanced weapons like the venom cannon, this weapon is moulded onto a monsterous creature called Exocrine, the venom cannon melts any armour of any kind and desolves skin in the matter of seconds.

One of the biggest wars of the tryanid race was the battle of gastrum, this was a planet inhabited by a race called the Tau empire this race was a massive heavy artillery army. On the year of 4310 the battle to end the race of the Tau empire began.

The Tryanid army has been killing people, creatures and anything else which gets in their way, they're even known to kill each other if they are hungry. As the race of the tryanid approached the planet of gastrum the heavy artillery of the tau empire fired towards them however the vast amount of Tyranids which were coming towards the planet, it is like moving sand away as you move the sand more moves in to take it's place. the swarms keep coming towards the planet and the Tau didn't know what to do because they have never fought against the Tryanid race before so they haven't put the DNA into their data base, so the security systems didn't notice them until it was to late, the swarms of Tyranid were to close for them to take any extreme action.

All the Tau could do is get the battle suits out which was a 15 tonne human controlled robot which had 2 heavy miniguns in each arm which fired 2000 bullets and had 10 clips each gun, this means they could ward off the swarm so they could have enough time to get ready for a battle they were about to lose.
