Chapter 11

"So how's your first day at work?"

Karina popped open a bottle of champagne before pouring it to a couple of clear glasses which she had set on the coffee table.

Winter leaned on her new boss' desk, amusedly watching the older girl who was charmingly dressed in suit and tie, just exactly like the first time they had met-when she'd peeked over her uncle's office to encounter the beautiful sight of Mr. Yu.

"It was okay, actually."

Karina raised an eyebrow as she walked closer to Winter, handing the half-filled glass of champagne. "Just okay? Did the co-workers not treat you well?"

"Well I hadn't got the chance to know my co-workers, actually, since all I did today was having tour around the company. And it's just.. I don't think it'd be as easy as I thought, tho. As expected from the leading company in South Korea." Winter giggled, raising her glass as she did.

"Well we don't make money by doing easy stuff, baby." Karina laughed along as she raised her glass as well. "For our reunion and success."

The light bump of their glass created limpid clink through the empty, quiet broad office of Karina. It was late so all of the employees might have left the building, deserted, and it was probably only the security guards and these both women inside there

Karina had let the lights off, since it was full moon that day, so her office which had the glass wall would still be bright enough. It was both pleasantly saving the energy, and making it more romantic.

They took a sip of their own respective champagne and let the sour sweet delight brushed their sense of taste, locking their eyes intensely on each other's as they did.

After carefully making sure the door was locked, Karina silently put her glass down and made her way to Winter.

Step by step, slowly, not taking her eyes off her even for a second. Winter held her glass still, waiting for the blonde girl to approach her.

When they were just a step apart, Karina leaned forward and seductively whispered right beside Winter's left ear, sending shivers down the younger girl's spine, as she took the glass from Winter's hand and put it away from the desk.

"You have no idea how I've been missing you like crazy, Kim Winter."

Winter sighed when Karina put a palm on her cheek, leaning in to savor the warmth more. "I missed you too, Karina."

"Don't you know what you're doing to me in these fitted pencil skirt and.." Karina gropped Winter's fine bottom, evoking a sharp sigh from the latter. "..purposely, sexily exposing your fine nape by tying your hair up like this?" she licked the corner of her own lips as she let Winter's hair loose.

Karina pulled back, staring at Winter's eyes—that she had been longing to drown into—for quite some time before inching closer, gently closing the gap between their yearning lips. It was magical, it felt like the first time they ever kissed—mindblowing, and addictive.

Winter smiled upon capturing Karina's lower lip between her teeth, letting the reminiscences of their brief yet wonderful days together play in her brain.

Karina had lifted Winter onto her work desk while holding her by waist as she deepened the kiss, tasting every inch of Winter's luscious lips. They had a fierce tongue battle and it was lucky for her that the younger girl breathlessly pulled away first, otherwise she had to admit defeat.

She stared at Winter lustfully, who returned the gaze with the same tension. Both knew they were desiring of each other.

Karina started kissing Winter's jawline before going down to her neck and suck it hungrily, twirling her tongue and marking it, making the other girl moan huskily.
