You sat on a park bench, sniffling, your face stained with tears. You had found out that your boyfriend cheated on you with your best friend. No wonder they were acting so distant lately.
Your phone vibrated. You checked it and realized you got messages from your now ex-boyfriend and best friend.
"he likes me more. you're pathetic" from your ex best friend.
"you're not good enough for me" from your ex-boyfriend.
You blocked both of them, and felt tears welling up in your eyes. You buried your face into your hands.
"Are you okay?" you heard someone say. Turning around, you saw a boy your age with dark hair and dark brown eyes.
You nodded, wiping away your tears. "I'm fine. Just... relationship problems." you gave him a small smile.
He sat down next to you. "Well, you can tell me about them." the boy said.
"That would be a little rude, telling someone I just met about my relationship problems." you responded.
"True. I'm Cole." he said.
"The Earth Ninja?" you asked, so shocked that you temporarily forgot about your sadness.
He nodded.
Your phone vibrated again, then you checked it.
"My mother wants me to go back home. It was nice meeting you. " you said.
"Wait!" Cole said as you turned around to go. He took out a piece of paper and a pen, then wrote something on it.
"You can talk to me." Cole said, giving you the paper.
You saw a number scrawled on the paper. You smiled at him and said,
"Bye Cole." you waved to him and left.
