His Queen

chapter 8

Hazel

I walked through the forest and listened noises that forest made. I looked down on the ground and saw blood. There was line which lead deeper into the forest. That line was covered in blood. I followed that line and suddenly i heard loud scream. I started walking faster towards that scream.
I heard someone talking
"Where is she? Someone said and he was really angry.
The girl was crying and trembling out of fear. "I-i don't kno-w" she cried out

I stepped closer to see what's happening and looked there. There was blood everywhere and the man was holding girl roughly by the neck. They couldn't see me because trees and bushes covered me. That man was holding knife in his other hand. Girl was young, maybe 15 years old her shirt was all bloody her neck and arms too. I was so shocked i didn't know what to do. The man almost shouted at her "You're lying, you deserve to die"

She started crying more and begging him not to do anything to her. He brought knife closer to her and stabbed her many times in her chest. She was screaming and started losing consciousness. Blood was spiling everywhere. I covered my mouth and backed away. I was so shocked and scared and stepped on the stick. His head quickly turned towards where I am standing. I was relieved that bushes hided me but he started walking closer.
I stapped back again and fell on the grass. With every step he did he came closer and closer to me. I tried to stood up quietly but he saw me and started running towards me. I panicked and and ran. I ran fast, I tried to find my escape form here. Behind me i heard him shouting, i didn't listened and pushed me to run harder. I finally saw my escape, i saw forest end and the sky with the sun shining. I ran faster and faster. I didn't stopped because I knew i can make it.
I looked behind me to see if he is far from me. But no he was close really close. So I run faster and suddenly infront of me stood 4 men. All dressed in black and hoods covering their faces. They started walking towards me. And I looked to my left and right but there was only trees. Nothing more. Big hand grabbed me roughly by my waist and the other hand covered my mouth

"Didn't your parents teached you not to listen private talks" he said, tears were running down my face. I needed somehow to escape. I bit him hard in the hand, he let go of me and grabbed his hand. "you bitch" he glared at me and came closer again.
I did what everyone would do. I screamed. I screamed loudly for help.
"I will teach you how to behave" he said sternly and aimed knife at me.
"Please no" i pleaded him and stepped back. My back hit someone hard. And I turned my head to looked behind me. Those 4 men were standing there. I and hit one of them chest. He quickly grabbed my arms tight to prevent me from moving. I screamed again and again and again.
That man who stood in front of me threw knife on the ground and took out the gun. He just smirked at me and aimed it at my chest. Right there where is my heart.
"Last words?" He said

I just cried. Nothing would change my life. He shot.
Everything seemed to stop. Time was going very slowly. I didn't heard anything just some blunt voices. I couldn't understand what they are saying. My vision started getting blury. Everything was blury. My head was pounding so much and darkness tried to take over me. My knees started to get limb and I couldn't stand i fell. I fell on the ground. Darkness started taking me in another world where I could be happy. That's what I thought. I couldn't see anything anymore. Everything was black. Everything.
I heard someone speaking or no. Shouting

"Hazel, wake up please" this voice was soft and caring. But that's not real.

Someone started shaking me "Hazel please just wake up" that voice, again and again it was so soft but I could hear worry in that voice.
