Chapter 1: Something strange in the selections

It was finaly time for the announcement of a new tournament of Sensha-Dō, Ōarai Girls High School and all the other schools gathered at the palace where the selection for the groups are made.

"Finally, i can't wait to see who we will be against at the first match!" says Yukari, all excited for the moment

"Me too, we need to keep our title of reigning champions; last year was tough with Kuromorimine in the finals, i hope this one will be as fun as the last" says Miho to Yukari while making sign to she, Hana, Saori and Mako to take their seats for the upcoming presentation.

Then all the students from all the other schools arrives: first St.Gloriana, then Kuromorimine, Pravda, Anzio, Chi-Ha-Tan, Jaktosota...; a man of the Sensha-Dō Federation walks up to the stage and turn on his microphone:
"Hello everyone, hope you're doing well today, i'm Oliver Spiegel, a member of the newly formed International Federation, this year's championship will be a sort of test for our purpouses in fact we'll be allowing boys to participate, but there is a limit: 5 boys in a entire school..." all the girls in there begins to murmur on why allowing boys, why trying this while the all-girl method is doing so great, but also they aren't complaining about expanding Sensha-Dō outside Japan in fact they are quite happy about that.

"...the winner of this year championship..." the man continues  ".. will be facing the current strongest European team, now represented by the italian girls of the "Divisione Folgore"; but now i've taken too much time, let's get into the selections"

One by one all the representatives of the different schools picks their number
-Pravda: 1
-Jaktosota: 8
-Saunders: 5
-BC Freedom:6
-Chi-Ha-Tan: 3
-Kuromorimine:2
-Ōarai: 1

While returning at her place, Miho sees something that catches her eye: a black silhouette standing in the back of the crowd with something that seems a long camera, wearing a black band with a white, unknown, symbol in it.
In the moment the figure notices Miho watching it, it's disappears as fast as it came up

"Did you also see that figure?" Miho asks to her friends, but them deny seeing anything; she also asked Kay, Katyusha, Erika...and all of them denied.

"Maybe it was because i had the beacon on my face that i saw that...." Miho thinks while leaving the palace, now focussed on the training she and her team have to do now
"We must be focussed on our training now, we are facing Kuromorimine in the first match, it won't be easy at all" Miho says to the Anglerfish Team   "we are starting training tomorrow after school, but for now....." she continues    "Anyone want an Ice Cream?" Interrupts Saori, exicted to start the new tournament "Who's with me?"

Miho sighs, but simultaniously to Yukari, Hana and Mako, she agrees to take an ice cream and taking the following night with relax before start training the next day.
