Final Chapter: There is no hope under the Black Sun

After long weeks of running away from everything that looked like a burgundian soldier, Michael and Maho finally reached the border between the Ordensstaat and the Reich, once they crossed it they felt a sense of liberty never felt before

"We did it, we did the impossible..."  Maho says, still a bit hurt from all the tortures  suffered.

"We actualy did it....i still can't believe it" Michael says, in disbelief of what they did

"And now what? We escaped Burgundy, but what are we going to do now?"  She asks

"Ehm....."  he thinks, he hadn't thought of what they might do after escaping

After some minutes of reflecting, he has an idea  "we have to go to Germania, the Reich's capital city...."

"Why?"

"Trust me...it's for the better"

Then Maho nodded to his plan, he knows something she doesn't....the power struggle within the inner circles of the Reich are a perfect opportunity for them...to do something great.

During their long journey, the idea of one day destroying the Ordensstaat is growing every second passed, they saw things that no one should see; for their mental health's sake: near the border there was another big camp, and just from the outside it wad possible to smell the stench that the corpses emitted and the smoke they generated when burned; someone even burned alive......another thing was "the twins": a couple of children who have been experimented on, when one of the two died of syphilis injected, the doctors cutted the head of the dead and stitched up to the body of the second, that abomination was left dying of starvation outside the camp because no one, not even the guards, wanted to be close to it; and when Michael and Maho saw it, the child was trying to bite the other head with a ferocity without limits, and when they saw it's eyes....they were totally white, with only the small capillaries to give some colour.

Every time they passed some atrocities, Michael felt a strong sense of guilt because he was indeed a Burgundian himself, he was part of all this; now that he saw the reality he promises to all those who died as prisoners to, one day, liberate them one last time; at least in Heaven their souls will feel liberty knowing that the Ordensstaat will be destroyed, their souls will be freed of that slavery felt in life....
It wasn't rare that he had a crisis, everytime he felt like a part of that machine, he cried like a baby, giving out to the last drop of water he had in his body; but every time to comfort him there was the love of his life...Maho was always there to dry his tears, she knew he wasn't s part of that massacre...she loves him, and she wants to prove it whenever the situation requires it.

It took almost an entire month to reach the gates of Germania, in that time their relationship skyrocketed, they reached an entire new level of being lovers; enjoying every second of their time togheter....and a day the head of the Volkshalle's cupola was finally visible for them...

"Ehm...Miss Nishizumi, someone is expecting you at the Volkshalle, and it's important..."  a man was talking to Miho, she and her friends stayed over 2 months in a hotel nearby the great city center, the rent was splitted between their 5 so it wasn't too unbearable; the prices of a hotel so close to the center were absolutly enormous, almost 400 ReichMarks for a single night...but luckily Hana's mother provived them the right amount of money to stay there all the time needed

Once she was ready she headed to the place the man told her, and for her surprise...it was her sister Maho with Michael behind her!
Miho immediatly rushed to hug her sister after all this time they were separated

"Oh my god! You're here! I'm so much happy to know you are fine and alive!"  Miho says while crying of joy

Maho was also crying because she saw her little sister for the first time in what she felt like ages, she missed her family so much during all that time; she believed she would never saw her sister and her family ever again when she was in Rodomo. Miho then make sign to the two of them to follow her at the hotel where all the other girls where waiting, on their way Maho was impressed by how Berlin was rebuilt in the mega-project that was Welthaupstadt Germania, almost forgetting for a little moment that she wanted to tell exactly what is happening right under the curtains of the border.

When they got into Miho's room with all the girls, Maho and Michael begins telling their story, without neglecting the slightest detail; they think such things have to be narrated as close to the reality as possible, so someone at the power would do something to stop the atrocities of the Burgundian System. During the story the girls almost throwed up from how cruel and disgusting were the experiments

"If you thought that the old Third Reich with Hitler was cruel, the Ordensstaat makes him like a nice guy compared to it"
That was the sentence that scared the most out of everyone there, they believed that no one could surpass the Holocaust in terms of cruelty but there was no hope...

"I...saw a man being executed because he had the nose 2 centemeters too long..." says Maho, and Michael confirms the sentence:

"That's true, they believe in the absolute purity of the Herrenvolk, the Aryans....anyone who isn't in their perfect requirements is istantly killed for being "part of the undesirable race" even if they're german, they do not care..."

Then he starts talking about all the crazy stuff that the High Command of the Ordensstaat believes in, a bunch of impossible things: esoteric, mystic and also paranormal....but the topic that scared the most is what they aim to achieve for their final plan...

"Their main goal is to purify the world....by killing everyone, making the wanted living space for their master race; as they say: "the nuclear flames shall purify this bloody world from the unworthy of life, the Herrenvolk shall rise again from the ashes of the atoms" ..."

"This... is absolutly mad! How they can do this!?" All the girls says in unison, scared from what Michael revealed them

"From our escape we saw countless missle sites, all of them contain at least 50 nuclear warheads and bunkers....they're preparing to hide for the Nuclear Holocaust" Maho says

"But....Where did they get these ideas from?" Hana says

"They took old Himmler's ideas from WWII and make it real, all of this was already planned 80 years ago, but back then there was a war to stop him, now they can act undisturbed.....unless..."

There a sparkle ignited inside Michael's head, an idea that might save the world from the nuclear annihilation

"I can take advantage of the power struggle here to take power....and save the world, but how can i do it?"   He says

"That's....a good idea, you could use our testimony of what we have suffered to bring the german people to your side against the burgundians!" Maho says while continuously touching her belly...

"Then it's settled! We will stop that madness of a country, this is time for...ehm..." he thinks for a bit

"As a bold man said long time ago for declaring war: "l'ora delle decisioni irrevocabili"  "

"Did you just mentioned Mussolini?"  Miho says

"That man is just a meme" he answers

After some weeks of intensive propaganda, digging out what really is hiding behind the Burgundian border, things that no one knew, things that were kept secret even from the burgundian citizens themselves, the great day finally has arrived: inside the Volkshalle, in front of over 180.000 people, Michael and Maho are elected "Führer und Führerin des Deutsche Volk, Deutsche Reich und Deutsche Nation"

Before the presentation speech started, Maho  tried to hide as much as possible her belly, but in those weeks it's only grown larger...

The microphone was open, the people are ready to hear every word and he was ready to give his speech and so it was all ready for him...

"Volksgenossen, volkgenossinnen...."
