The events of the previous night weighed heavily on Adrialith's mind as he and Gabriel navigated the corridors of the castle. Roartix remained close by their side, his presence a comforting reminder of their shared bond and unwavering loyalty.

As they walked, Adrialith couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air like a thick fog. The castle seemed different now, shadows lurking in every corner and secrets whispering through the stone walls.

"Something's not right," Adrialith muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. "I can feel it."

Gabriel nodded in silent agreement, his expression grave as he scanned their surroundings for any sign of danger. "We need to tread carefully," he replied, his voice tinged with caution. "There's darkness here that we've yet to uncover."

With a shared sense of determination, they pressed on, their footsteps echoing through the empty corridors as they searched for answers. Each twist and turn brought them deeper into the heart of the castle, closer to the truth that lay hidden within its ancient walls.

Suddenly, a faint glimmer caught Adrialith's eye, a flash of light reflecting off something hidden amidst the shadows. Without hesitation, he moved towards the source of the light, his heart pounding in anticipation.

As he reached out to grasp the object, his hand closed around a small, intricately carved pendant – a relic of a bygone era, its surface etched with symbols and runes long forgotten.

Gabriel's eyes widened in recognition as he gazed upon the pendant, a flicker of understanding crossing his features. "This... this belonged to my ancestors," he murmured, his voice filled with awe.

Adrialith's heart skipped a beat as he realized the significance of their discovery. "What does it mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Gabriel's expression grew solemn as he turned to Adrialith, his eyes shining with determination. "It means that the shadows hiding within these walls hold secrets that have long been forgotten," he replied. "And it's up to us to uncover them."

With the pendant clutched tightly in his hand, Adrialith felt a surge of determination coursing through his veins. Whatever darkness awaited them, they would face it together, united in their quest for truth and justice.

The sudden, piercing sound reverberated through the corridor, causing both Roartix and Adrialith to stagger in pain, their hands instinctively flying to cover their ears. The high-pitched shriek cut through the air like a knife, sending waves of agony coursing through their bodies.

Adrialith gritted his teeth against the searing pain, his head throbbing with each ear-splitting wail. Beside him, Roartix whimpered in distress, his massive form trembling with discomfort as he struggled to endure the relentless assault on his senses.

Through the haze of agony, Adrialith cast a desperate glance towards Gabriel, but the Light remained unaffected by the deafening noise, his expression one of confusion as he watched his companions writhe in pain.

As the sound continued to echo through the corridor, Adrialith's thoughts raced with questions. What was causing this torment? And how could they escape its relentless grasp?

With a fierce determination, Adrialith fought through the pain, his mind focused on finding a way to silence the agonizing sound and protect his companions from further harm.
