"Alright, let's address some problems." Phaze said as he woke up the security guards with a high-pitched frequency.
"They're not dead?" I ask.
"I tend to avoid killing by any means necessary and have rarely done it." He responds as we walk over to the head guard of the place.
"Wait, so you've-"
"Place your hands above your head!" the guard shouted as many of them surrounded us.
"I believe you've misunderstood something." Phaze started, activating his silver tongue. "I woke you all up with a high pitch frequency device that I have in my left hand, and I woke you all up with it. Why would I wake up security guards and then approach them without any weapons?"
"But Alma is with you." One of the guards replied.
"Alright listen here, I'm not going to tell you her sob story about manipulation and abuse, but you can interrogate the man I've cuffed outside, his name is Blaise, which might ring a bell."
"Y-you arrested Blaise? And alma isn't attacking you?"
"When did I ever claim to like that trash?" I butted in.
"Well- uhm- we're still confused."
"Alright, you want answers? I'll give them to you. There are eighteen people, each fifteen years old, with supernatural abilities, the list goes: fire, water, earth, air, electric, psychic, dark, light, space, time, ice, life, metal, normal, sound, fairy, dragon, and ghost. Alma is the first, and I'm the last. These eighteen people need to be together to fulfill a prophecy that could end the world. You may not believe what I'm saying, but I'm telling the truth and quite frankly I don't care if you do believe me. Tell what I've said to the media, and also know that Alma has reformed.. or I guess is on her way to doing so. Lastly, my name is Phaze, and interrogating Blaise will prove that I am not to be trifled with. Alright, you got all that? In that case, no money was taken, I left some money to repair the doors, and I'll be leaving now." Phaze said, then, we were immediately teleported out of there. I turn and see that moon is responsible for teleporting us out of there.
"You get yourself in a lot of trouble." She says.
"I don't know which one of us you're talking to." I replied.
"It was originally meant for Phaze, but I suppose it applies to you as well, Alma."
"Alright enough of that, Alma consented to opening up, and I try to avoid reading minds, so I'm counting on you, Moon."
"On it." She says.
"What?" I question.
Then Moon runs over to me and hugs me, tears in her eyes.
"... What?" I question once more.
"Oh, she read your mind to understand your past, and now feels bad for you because you've been through a lot." Kyle says as he enters the room that we're in, which I don't even know.
"Where are we? This place looks expensive." I ask.
"The Rigel mansion. Where Blake, Aaron, and I, live." Kyle states as Moon lets go of me.
"Sorry, it's just.. a lot to take in." she said.
"I'm well aware." I reply.
"Sooo. Now that Alma opened up, it's time to answer some questions." Phaze chimed in.
"Right! So many questions! First off, I'm still stuck on the cat ears, I am well aware that there are more important questions to be asked, but that's weighing on my mind far too much to overlook." I practically shout.
"I guess I should bring Flora here to answer that; but from what I can tell it's a side effect of her powers, specifically how she can turn into most animals that can't fly or breathe underwater." Phaze replies.
"She can do that?"
"Yes."
"... man, I thought I was the only fifteen-year-old who had powers, you know, post incident."
"Wrong, I'm aware of at least 20 people who were born post incident and have supernatural abilities."
"But- wasn't there only eighteen people in the prophecy you mumbled on about?"
"Yes, but unethical testing has been done, and I know of a person who has abilities because of that."
"And the other one?" I ask.
"Well, he was born at the same time of the incident, and maybe caused it. I've only found him recently, though."
"Wait.. caused the incident!? That killed billions and moved countries!" Kyle said.
"You didn't know about them?" I ask.
"This is very much new news for all of us." Moon states calmly.
"Can't you read minds? Didn't you read Phazes?" I ask.
"Multiple issues with that suggestion, first off, this is something he discovered recently, I don't constantly check in on people's minds, secondly, he has a telepathic barrier, it's a part of his powers, and even if it wasn't he probably could've made an anti-telepathic field around his head. Lastly, he dropped the barrier once so that I could see what he was thinking, and aside from his thoughts being too advanced to comprehend, his memories left trauma that made me faint and forget what I saw." Moon said.
"Wait, so you just felt bad for my past, but you collapsed trying to learn his?" I asked as I looked over to Phaze.
I saw Moon nod out of my peripheral vision, and when Phaze saw me looking at him, he just shrugged. Must've been a really bad past.
"Alright I'm sure you have more questions, so shoot." He said as many a people entered the room. Aaron, Star, Flora, Tylar, and three new faces.
"Alright. How many people from 'the prophecy' are either here or available to contact easily? Also, what exactly is the prophecy?" I ask.
"Well, we have fire, water, electric, psychic, space, ice, life, and ghost as people you know; in order: you, Kyle, Tylar, Moon, Star, Aaron, Flora, and me. Then there's earth and air here, as two of the people who entered here, the girl with white hair and eyes is Skylar, the air elementor, and the one with brown hair, eyes, and darker skin is Charcoal, the earth elementor. Elementors are people able to use elements, I didn't make the name, it was in the prophecy." Phaze said, the two nodded at me and then sat down next to Phaze, who was on a couch across from me. Everyone was now seated, Star and Aaron in a loveseat, Moon and the last person that I don't know in another one, Kyle, Tylar, and Flora were all in separate chairs, and so was I.
"Okay, what about the other ones? You know, dark, light, time, metal, normal, sound, fairy, and dragon; also, who is this person sitting next to Moon, who is the person you casually brought up as possibly causing the incident, and is Derik involved in this at all? Because he felt pretty important." I ask.
"I guess I'll introduce myself." The guy with a patch of brown around his right eye said, the same guy who was sitting by Moon. "I am Blake Rigel, oldest son of the Rigel family, with the other two being twins. I'm somewhat involved with this whole prophecy thing, because when my brothers were born, I gained the ability to telepathically mold mud and clay into what I wanted, mainly small sculptures, but the fact that I got those powers when they were born is still a mystery to me." Blake said, before turning over to Phaze to continue the elaborate expository episode that is occurring right now.
"Right, he's also just in charge of this mansion, so it would be rude to have a large-scale conversation without him in his own house. Anyways, I have clues on dark, light, time, metal, normal, and dragon, but fairy and sound are two that we'll just have to hope to find clues for while recruiting the others. Now, for the prophecy itself.."
