"Oh God,why does it hurt so much?!"Kim mumbled doubling over in pain,Adam instantly rushing over to her side"Babe,are you sure you can work today?"he asked worried evident in his voice."Yup...yup,the pain is decreasing."she told Adam.They got into the car and drove to the station.

At the station...

"Babe,you should take the day off,i know your in pain..."Adam said to Kim."I'm okay..."She mumbled."Hey,can I take over patrol for Kim?"Adam asked.A few moments later,both him and Sean Roman went to patrol."Girl,are you alright,your pale,you don't look very well at all."Hailey asked.Kim just nodded as to say she was fine.

Two hours later...

10-1,10-1,repeat shots fired!My partner is shot!Sean's frantic voice was heard through the radio.Kim instantly shot up from her laying position as Trudy came running,yelling,"Burgess,hop on,i'm bringing you to med,Adam is getting transferred over now!"On the ride there,she could not stop thinking,what if I lost him?what if he is really hurt?What if...Pain ripping through her lower abdomen pulled her out of her reverie.She groaned as the wave of pain that washed through her was intense.Soon they arrived at med...

At Med...

"How is he?Is he Okay?Will he survive?"Kim bombarded Dr Halstead with tons of questions."Officer Ruzek was brought in with a GSW to his chest,Dr Rhodes is removing the bullet right now."He said.Kim stood up as excruciating pain shot through her stomach,she doubled over in pain"Ow-w,OW-W,why does it hurt this bad?"She yelled.The excruciating pain shooting through her not getting better."Come on,lets get you checked out."Will said.

She was put into a cubical as Dr Manning came in and said"hey ,I heard you were in pain,lets do an ultrasound ."After looking at the monitor for a while,she declared"Kim,you are crowing,get ready to push."Within minutes,Kim delivered a beautiful baby girl."It still hurts!!"Kim yelled before adding"OH GOD!There is more!I can feel it!"Dr Manning conformed her suspicion .Once again,Kim delivered another beautiful baby girl."Kim ,what you had was a cryptic pregnancy,you were 36 weeks pregnant."Dr Manning said.Kim just nodded."Oh yeah and Adam's surgery is done,I'll transfer you to the same room as him.

3 hours later...

Adam is awake and cannot believe he has two daughters now,within the span of a day."Let's name them!"Kim urged as she placed one child next to him.After a while,they decided on Maya Elizabeth Ruzek and Amelia Elizabeth Ruzek as their names.Kim cradled Amelia in her arm as Trudy cradled Maya,their entire police family was with them as they entered parenthood...
