It was nearly the first day of school. The crime rates weren’t so high as it is over the summer. I was walking to school when I noticed a little girl following me. “Excuse me sir, I’m lost can you help me please?” She asked and I nodded. “Of course, school can always wait but what do your parents look like?” I spoke. The little girl smiled, “I’m Emma and my parents are Jane and Lucifer Rose.” I gulped hearing those names. Everyone knows not to upset the children of the mafia or even go near them. “Okay I’ll help you look for them,” I said. “Yay and can I have a piggyback ride mister um?” She said and tilted her head. “I’m Luke and of course you can Emma,” I bent down for Emma so she could get on my back.
Me and Emma kept looking for her parents, but we still couldn’t find them. That’s until Emma ran to a guy with brown hair and a red hoodie on. “There you are my little sister I was wondering where you ran off to,” the strange male said. “Ash you found me yay and I made a friend his name is Luke he helped me,” Emma said. That made the male Ash grin and glare at me. “Emma was Luke nice to you and did he hurt you?" Ash had asked Emma. “Nope he didn’t hurt me and he’s nice big brother,” Emma said. I sighed and started to walk away and realized how much time I have left until 3rd period would’ve started.
