Soon the bell rang and my teacher told me to stay after class but I didn’t really listen since this was my free period and I had time on my side. I put headphones on and started to walk around the campus. That’s when I bumped into Ash, “sorry dude.” That’s when I heard a huff from Ash, and he just kept walking.
I just looked behind me and started to walk again. Soon school was over and I was on my way to work. That’s when I passed an old couple the miss seemed to have dropped something so I picked it up. “Excuse me ma’am, sir I believe you dropped this,” I spoked and the male had turned around. “Oh I didn’t realize that my wife and I had dropped the receipt from our shopping thank you young man.”
I nodded and continued to work. I arrived at Liquid Heaven Diner, I opened the door and was greeted by Max. “Hey Luke ready for your shift?” Max questioned. “Ready as ever,” I replied. Max just tilted his head and gave me a slight nudge with his arm. “You okay dude?” Max asked. I nodded, “yeah just been stressed and confused most of the day.”
