Through the sparse canopy of leaves, the light of the moon shone through in soft rays of silver. The air was humid, that some of the clouds that hung in the sky. But in the woods, the rustling, frozen leaves crunched as a figure walked quietly through the almost soundless woods. A little cluster of light rain clouds had passed through the evening, dampening the ground and filling the air with the scent of fresh rain. The distant mountains were delicately sprinkled with the fading mist from the rain, like faint white frosting on cake slices. Puffs of fog appeared in the air at their every breath. Their eyes, which were almost hidden by the shadows of the forest, searched through the trees, looking for something. All of the animals were either huddled in their nests and dens, sleeping through the day with hopes that tonight's moon will bring back the cool air to the desert. The only creatures that dared be out tonight were some rabbits that munched on the leaves, not worrying about predators that might snatch them away, and a few skittering field mice, searching desperately for spare shriveled berries on the forest floor.
When a figure continued her stroll, the figure stepped into the sunlight on the forest's path, revealing the girl. The girl is none other than Audra Falco.
She is tall and slim, but she has hidden strength within her. She has long, wavy sandy-blonde hair that's highlighted in starlight blue and goes over her shoulders. Her striking eyes could shame a pair of blue sapphires with little effort, but seems to be glowing in the dark. Her fair skin is lightly tanned from her time in the sun. She's wearing a blue and white striped shirt and her dark blue jeans are folded at her dark brown combat boots. Though, her only accessory is a simple silvery chain necklace and it had an orb like-shape; its shades can be described as the galaxy, a mixture of hues such as cyan, aquamarine, sapphire, and a hint of violet.
Audra is one of those very few teens who don't care about their social life and understands the world better. For years, she is incredibly kind and has a soft spot for kids and animals, since she can be a babysitter sometimes and took part in an animal shelter. Audra is very selfless to the ones she loves and will forever be loyal to them. Audra's grades were high and she is a strong fanfic writer. She enjoys reading fantasy novels and adventure books that have gotten her to work at the library as one of the assistants there, but she hates war and violence. Though, she doesn't take very kindly to when boys flirt with her.
She climbed rickety fallen trees, jumped some ledges, and walked along the narrow hills. The minutes passed quickly as she navigated the many obstacles. She worked her way cautiously eastward, in the direction of the nearby hills. Small birds chorused from the trees, occasionally pausing as they saw Audra approach, and then starting again after a moment, as if they were nothing to worry about. Dragonflies and butterflies flitted around the wary girl. In the mild morning breeze, Audra could smell a startling scent of smoke and burnt trees.
Where she stood, at the edge of it, the forest was trying to rise again. Ashes drifted like dead leaves over the girl's boots. Though, floating through the air looked like smoke. But Audra had came to an instant stop. In front of her was the space rock, it seems to be emitting out blue smoke in the giant, darkened hole.
Standing in front of Audra was a massive asteroid. The space rock seemed to be glowing with the blue mist. But something tells Astra that there's more to this space rock than this mist.
She looked around warily as she circled the space rock yet again, unsure what to expect. But she started hearing a thumping sound... almost like.... a heart beating next to her? It sounded like... music and... thumping. Like a heart beat. She spun around to see a small pod have been pushed into the space rock and she gazed at it in wary confusion.
Audra turned to look at the pod warily. Emotions rolled around inside Audra like a whirlwind. She don't know whether to feel scared or wary or curious or uncertainty. She swallowed her nerves and quietly opened the lid. Audra had soon found a smaller wooden box made out of redwood with a golden lock in the center.
The sound grew louder and a faint light peeked through the keyhole. Audra held the plain-looking box in front of her. It felt warm to the touch, like holding a steaming cup of her dad's signature hot chocolate. She could hear the thumping from where she was at.
Audra's finger hovered over the keyhole, beneath the box was a secret compartment which opened up when she pressed it. Inside it was the key and Astra used it. When she unlocked it, the lid flew open all on its own.
A radiant blue light nearly blinded her, but once her eyes adjusted the item inside took her breath away. The object pulsed like a beating heart, but shimmered like a luminescent blue crystal. Audra picked it up the crystal and was surprised to see it levitating over her hand.
A voice of warmth and love filled the air as Audra gazed at the crystal. "My child. Bring me towards the brave one who has fallen." Audra looked at the glowing crystal and was seized deep in his soul by the pain there; the mournful grief and the overwhelming love.
In the next few minutes, she began climbing up the rocks and she reaches the top of the rock pile. She looks left and right, making sure no one else was following her. Audra carefully started pushing and pulling the rocks out of her way. Though, she had to jump out of the way of a few rolling boulders after she had gotten it loose. Once she had gotten the rocks to make a small opening for her, she could see how dark it is. But she could see flecks of glowing blue crystals scattered around in the cave. Uncertain of what she should do, she jumped from the rock pile and landed without a problem.
Her Allspark shard had started glowing brightly than before and leading her deeper into the cave. Audra was wary at first, but she still followed it despite her fear. Though, she looked around with wary determination. Everything seemed to be blackened by soot from some sort of explosion. Despite how dark it is, she could see faint outlines of rocks in the shadows. Phosphorescent moss clung to the rocky walls and stalactites of a few glowworms above her. Water dripped softly here and there, and a rivulet ran through the cave, connecting some pools and puddles of water by the rainfall. But as the wind shrieked outside, it's warmer and quieter farther back in the cave. She continued following the Allspark shard deeper into the depth of the cave.
As she continued to follow the Allspark shard, she came to an abrupt stop once she see who it was. It was a huge red bot with a single bull horn, but she could see he has a huge hole in his chest and he's not responding to her or the Allspark's sudden presences. She felt a little uneasy about being so close to a late bot. Her culture had a deep respect for the departed, and being near the fallen in the grieving process was done was seen as impudent.
When she touched his servo, he was freezing cold as ice, like he had been down for a long time. She was just guessing it was a he because she could not find any girl features on him.
"Climb onto him." His voice had made Audra jumped in place, almost forgetting the speaking Allspark was with her. But she gotten over her surprise and reluctantly obeyed, she soon climbed up and she came to his chest where a large hole was in the left side. The sight of it made her flinched at the sight and looked even more unsettled about the situation. "It pierced his spark."
"Spark?" Audra echoed, a question in the air.
"The Cybertroanian equivalent of a heart." The Allspark floated up next to her, gazing at the fallen bot. As she looked at this robot's face, he looked both human and robotic. "Put me in his chest cavity."
"Are you sure?" Audra asked the Allspark nervously.
"Drop me," demanded the Allspark.
Audra frowned uncertainly, but she nodded understandingly. She didn't question it anymore and dropped it, waiting for the clang noise, but it never came. Instead, a glowing white light filled his chest. She immediately jumped off the glowing bot and kept a fair distance away from him.
Unsure of what the bot will do to her once he sees her, she hid behind some rocks and continued watching him warily as the bot seemed to be going through an energy bath. He looked a whole lot better now and his missing horn has grew back too. The bot rose from it's slumber, shaking off whatever had covered him during his sleep. As he gotten up, he looked to be under a great strain. She didn't blame him, if she had been dead down here for who-knows-how-long, she'd probably be strained too.
He shook his head, dazed and confused. "What happened?" Audra stiffened when she heard his voice. His voice sounded friendly and strong to her. She hesitantly stepped forward to gain a closer look at him, accidentally stepping on some loose stones and alerting the bot. He quickly spotted Audra, who was watching him warily. "A human?" She inched closer to her hiding place as the bot stepped towards her. Audra watched as he stopped in front of her, a gentle smile gracing his features and offered his hand to her. "C'mon out, I won't hurtcha. I promise."
She looked up into his bright blue eyes that were brought out by his bright red paint and he smiled down at her warmly. "Who are you?"
"I'm Cliffjumper," said the bot proudly.
"I-I'm Audra." Her voice was strong and quiet as the summer rain.
"Pleased to meet ya Audra." He laughed. It's a smooth, rolling laugh that made her smiled at him. His voice is like that too, calm and smooth so that when he talked, his voice rumbled warmly. It reminded her of the thunderstorms that would roll through the mountains and valleys of North Carolina. "So Audra, what's a human like you doing down here?"
"I was guided here, I guess you could say," admitted Audra. "What about you, Cliffjumper? What's a bot like you doing underground?"
"That's because... Because...." Cliffjumper had started to reply, placing his hand on his helm as if he was trying to remember. "I can't remember."
"You can't?" Audra asked, sounding confused and concerned. "Maybe if we explore a bit, we could find some answers."
Cliffjumper went through first since he was the bigger out of the two. Audra climbed out next, but she needed extra help climbing out of the partially blocked cave. They climbed down to the base of the mountain. She texted her parents, telling them she had met a new friend who offered her a ride to Jasper.
Cliffjumper nodded and transformed into his car form (aka Dodge Challenger), revving his engine and opening the passenger side door. "You wanna ride with me kid?"
Audra looked around cautiously, then she slipped inside the car. Audra reached over her shoulder to put your seatbelt on, but she soon heard Cliffjumper's voice, "Allow me," and buckled Audra in. The belt gently tightened around her and the door closes with a soft bang.
"Uh, thanks," Audra said uncertainly.
"Sure thing Audra," said Cliffjumper.
Audra leaned back in the seat and propped her elbow on the side of the door, staring out of the window as trees and houses passed by and lightly dozed on the seat after Audra had guided Cliff to her house.
