The following day, Rick's group had set their sights on searching for Sophia once more. Ivy patiently waited inside the house for Maggie's arrival. As soon as Maggie appeared, they ventured outside, where Glenn was strumming a guitar.

Ivy had been filled in by Maggie the day before about all the details of what had transpired between her and Glenn during their time on the run. As they stepped out of the house, Maggie couldn't help but flash Glenn a slightly uncomfortable smile.

Maggie approached Glenn and complimented the guitar, to which he responded by saying that Dale had discovered it on the highway. As Maggie glanced at Ivy, she silently requested a moment.

Ivy grasped the underlying meaning of Maggie's insinuation and gracefully distanced herself from the two, finding solace under the shade of a nearby tree, patiently waiting for Maggie.

As Maggie approached her, Ivy glanced over at Glenn. "He seems devastated," ivy remarked to Maggie. "Oh, he'll bounce back," she replied with a smile.

Ivy and Maggie were inside the house, rearranging some items, while Beth, Patricia, Lori, and Carol were in the kitchen preparing dinner. Suddenly, Hershel approached Maggie and Ivy with a displeased expression on his face.

"What's going on here?" He inquires, turning to his two daughters. "Lori and Carol are preparing dinner for all of us tonight," Maggie responds. "I had no idea," Hershel grumbles, clearly displeased. "We didn't think it was such a big deal," ivy explains nonchalantly.

Maggie explained that they want to express gratitude for our assistance, but Hershel emphasized the importance of establishing clear limits with these individuals, as they are becoming overly at ease. Ivy, however, argued that it was simply a dinner and nothing more.

"So, what's the deal with you and the Asian guy?" he inquired, curious. Maggie, without missing a beat, replied, "Oh, Glenn? He's just a friend." Ivy, not wanting to get caught up in the discussion, gracefully excused herself and headed towards the kitchen to lend a hand to the rest of the group.

As Ivy was assisting in the kitchen preparations for dinner, a sudden gunshot pierced the air, causing her to immediately look up. Without hesitation, she and a group of others swiftly dashed outside to investigate the source of the commotion.

"What on earth is going on out here?!" Hershel shouts

As they make their way back, Rick and Shane support an unconscious Daryl. Ivy and her family rushed them indoors without delay.

As the group entered the room, Daryl regained consciousness and found himself lying on the bed. Hershel carefully examined his wound while daryl shared his discovery. "I discovered it washed up on the creek bed nearby. She must have accidentally dropped it while crossing."

"The grid is practically sliced in half," Rick exclaims. Daryl mutters, "Yeah, you're welcome." Curious, Rick inquires, "How's he doing?" Hershel responds, "I never anticipated we would run out of antibiotics this fast."

Ivy exited the room and went to find maggie

As dinner time arrived, everyone gathered around to eat. However, Ivy felt uncomfortable and wasn't particularly hungry. Sensing the situation, she decided to break the awkwardness by offering to take some food to Daryl. With that in mind, you got up from the table and picked up his plate.

Ivy ascends the stairs, carefully balancing her plate. She gently taps on Daryl's door and enters. Daryl glances at her, clearly puzzled. "Hey," Ivy says, feeling a bit awkward. "I brought you some food." She sets the plate down on the nearby surface. "Thanks," he mutters in response, his tone gruff.

"Feeling alright? Do you need any additional pain relief?" she inquired. Daryl couldn't fathom why she showed such care, considering they barely knew each other. Nevertheless, he found solace in the warmth it brought him.

"I should be alright for the time being," he assures her. "Well, just so you know, I'm right next door, so feel free to call out if you need anything," she says, her smile radiating warmth.

With a nod, he acknowledges her. "Alright, I should be heading out now. Take care and enjoy your meal," she stammers anxiously, nearly stumbling towards the door due to her nervousness.

As the door clicks shut, Daryl can't help but smirk, relishing in his own amusement as he stifles a laugh
