        ~Andie's POV

Andie was quick to find Annabeth and Grover and they all back to find Percy as quietly as they could, soon the four of them made their way down into what seemed to be some sort of basement in hopes that there would be another way out since Alecto was still out front. Once Percy reached the others down on the landing it seemed that some sort of fire started and soon it lit up the whole basement, when Andie looked, she saw a huge open space filled with stone statues. The kids looked at each other before the basement door creaked open and closed again.

"Come on," Annabeth spoke and soon they were weaving through the statues to get away from Medusa.

"There's four of us and only one of her. If we split up, she can't be watching us all at once." Grover spoke.

"I don't think it'd be that simple," Annabeth argued.

"It could be. Here's the plan. I'll get in the air; I'll draw her attention. As soon as you hear me say, "Maia," you guys start- Oh, boy! Okay! Um..."

Grover had accidentally set Luke's gift off and now he was flying off as he shouted for the shoes to go back down but soon, he was gone.

"So, we're going to need a new plan," Percy said, Andie and Annabeth nodding in agreement.

"We are not our parents until we choose to be." Medusa's voice rang out and soon the kids ran off, accidentally splitting up. "You three have chosen."

Andie ran along the statues, feeling sorry for the poor souls who were now trapped in some creepy cemetery-like basement for the rest of eternity as Medusa continued to talk.

"A daughter of a self-righteous mother, who chose self-righteousness for herself."

         Annabeth.

"A daughter of a childish father whose fate is tied to an old tale."

        Andie.

"And you, you could have shown your father what it means to stand up for someone you love."

        Percy.

Andie ignored the fear coursing through in veins and kept pushing on, trying to figure out some plan in her head. Soon she came across a statue of something that looked to be a troll, but it had a flat enough head that Andie wouldn't been able to stand on it. She quickly checked her surroundings to make sure Medusa wasn't anywhere near her and she quickly ripped her bracelet off and her necklace, stringing her quiver over her shoulder before she quickly climbed up the troll's body, apologizing silently as she went. She stood on top of its head, notching an arrow, and quickly found Medusa, she saw Percy standing and facing her, his eyes closed and without a second thought, she sent her arrow flying.

In the span of her arrow flying, Grover had somehow found his way back to the group, but he was still trying to land so he managed to kick Medusa in the head which caused her to turn and then Annabeth used her Yankee's cap because she took it off and placed it on Medusa's head and screamed at Percy to swing. Right as Percy swung, Andie assumed her arrow went through Medusa's hair of snakes because the arrow went through it like butter as Percy chopped off her head.

Andie quickly jumped down from the troll statue and ran to find her friends and after a few twists and turns she ran up next to Annabeth while Percy reached down and picked up the invisible head.

        "You found it?" Annabeth asked.

        "Hope so," Percy said.

"Want me to take it from here?"
