Chapter 5 - Yes and No

It was towards the end of school when the intercom rang in my ears.

"Oh students! I almost forgot! There is going to be a dance here at the school. Bring your friends bring your boyfriends an girlfriends. Since you are all old enough you can party with them as close as you want but if your parent does not sign the permission slip that means you cannot be seen doing dirty things! But for those of you that do get it signed, be ready for a great night. See you all there!"

A smile crept up on my face. I bet that felt uncomfortable for him to say!!

The bell finally rang and I raced to my locker. I quickly got my backpack and my textbook for the weekend. There was supposed to be a test on Monday.

Suddenly I saw a set of familiar green eyes.

"Hey Jude." He smiled cheekily. I can see he liked the Beatles and my last name.

"Whatever Styles." I walked past him. I was about to walk downstairs to the door when he stood in front of me again.

"So did you hear about the dance today?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yeah, what about it?" I put my hands on my hips.

" Are you going?" He flipped his hair nervously.

'Yeah, why?" I asked. Ok ok you might think i'm being rude but come on! I'm not that interested in him. If he was he is going to have to try harder to get me.

"Do you want to go with me?" He but his lip. I thought for a moment. Then I made up my mind.

"Ok. 6:00 right?" I looks at my phone for the time and reminder.

"Uh yeah. See you there then." He smiled and left to catch his bus. Then I smiled also.

"Hey Grace!" A familiar touch was in my shoulder.

"Oh hey Amy whats up?" I smiled. We hasn't talked that much since I has been busying tutoring Harry on all of the studies. Yeah I had to tutor him too.

"Nothing much I have been kind of busy with my bf but I was just wondering if you wanna come to the party with us?" I shook my head.

"I'm already going with Harry." I explained.

"The new kid with the curly hair?" She tilted her head. I nodded. 

"Oh is Gracie girl in love?" She snickered. I gently pushed her shoulder.

"No I'm not so shut up!" Her hands sprang out in defense.

"Ok ok! But don't get carried away with him ok? I saw him flirting with a bunch of chicks today. That kid is trouble."

"He isn't like that." I said out loud.

"We'll maybe he is. He almost picked a fight with my boyfriend just because he was going to ask you something." She shook her head. I but my lip thoughtfully.

"We'll whatever. Listen ill see you at the Party!" I waved her goodbye and left the school building.

I smiled to myself. I knew what I was going to do at the party.
