As I was looking through the reels, I found a bundle of letters that were never sent. They all look to be in Alex's writing. The contents of the letters are odd.. to say the least. Alex talks of seeing a tall, faceless man standing outside his window at night, watching. He talks about how he feels he is going crazy as nobody else seems to see it but he knows it is real. I wonder if this has anything to do with the unfinished film and the "unworkable" conditions. Was this thing following him? I'll have to look into more in the morning.. it's getting late.
June 21st, 1924
After reading over another letter this morning, I found that Alex seemed to actually be afraid of the supposed stalker. As famous as he was at the time, it wouldn't be impossible. It doesn't seem that he was able to find anything however. I will have to keep looking. There's plenty of letters here so surely there's something in one of them that explains all of this.
