Chap II - Rondenian Imminent War

Three months have passed, and both Qua-Toyne and Qualia have undergone a very extreme change.

Three months ago, the major states of the League of Nations visited Maihark, Qua-Toyne. There was a conference that decided the future of Qua-Toyne.

The Maihark Conference, as they called it. But the Qua-Toynians preferred to call it "the Great Maihark Conference."

The Maihark Conference saw many ratifications, ranging from diplomatic relations to trade and deals.

Both Qua-Toyne and Qualia were able to secure trade routes, especially in commercial interests and technological imports with the major states of the League of Nations. Surprisingly, one state of the League of Nations proposed arms deals, which were quickly agreed upon by Qua-Toyne and Qualia. Although the arms deal was limited, regardless, the deal is assured.

In Qua-Toyne, the nation thrives from the booming economy. Trades with the countries of the new dubbed "Earthlands" became frequent with high demand of goods and resources.

With the rapid technological development, the government began the "Great Develompent." Major cities began to be developed. Paved roads replaced the old cobblestoned roads. The introduction of concrete replaced the hold-styled stone and wooden houses. Modern vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, and trains began to dominate land transportation.

Public education was introduced, and civilians from all classes began to receive proper education on a large scale. The government body of the Law Enforcement Department was established, with the police departments established as the only law enforcers for the country. Constructions of hospitals have begun on a large scale, thus effectively closing the old shamans and healer houses. Electricity was introduced as the main source for houses for daily living.

New laws and such were signed, ratified, and introduced to replace the deemed obsolete and inefficient laws.

Meanwhile, Qualia began to develop their lands. With the help of the Arabs, Qualia began a large water irrigation construction project in hope of bringing waters to the desolate lands. Railroad constructions were focused on bringing isolated places connected with the outer world.

With the help of the Arabians and the British, Qualia began massive banditry elimination to bring the reign of bandits and their terror to an end.

The discovery of large oil deposits in Qualia also brought large numbers of oil companies to the kingdom. Many countries from the League of Nations began to demand high quantities of oils. Drillings and constructions for oil wells have begun at large, and these oil wells are expected to finish next year.

In addition, the abundance of natural resources in Qualian deserts has started a period of large mining. Construction of mines has begun, and Qualia was overflooded with demands of precious raw resources already. At this time, Qualia experienced an economic boom in a short time.

Industrial development has also gone smoothly. However, some native tribes in Qua-Toyne and Qualia began to protest against industrialization. Fortunately, the problem can be resolved in a peaceful way. The government hopes these tribes can embrace the new ways. It is just a matter of time for them to embrace this new way.

In military. Old weapons, either surlprus or reproductions, began to flow to the Qua-Toyne and Qualian armory. Some of these weapons are still in production and still in commission. Most of these weapons are still small firearms, like rifles, machine guns, and pistols.

Some countries from the Earthlands began a joint exercise with Qua-Toyne and Qualia in order to improve their militaries' qualities. This is also necessary for some to form close relations and cease hostilities between, like the French with the Germans and the Chinese with the Japanese.
