It was the first day of high school in a new state. Temu had just moved from Pennsylvania to Texas so this was a pretty big transition for him. He had already been through most of high school, he is a senior after all but a new school with all new people? his heart was racing. He got to school 10 minutes early to ask where his classes were so he didn't get lost.
The moment he had dreaded all summer had finally come, The first period bell. Temu had to push through tall, country people just to get to his class. When he finally got to algebra he was the last one there as a result of being new. There was only one seat left, in the corner next to a cute guy. I sat down and got out my laptop like everyone else had theirs out. We were taking notes on the pythagorean theorem.
Everyone had already gotten 1 page of notes complete so after we were done with class work I needed to ask the cute guy next to me for the first page. It turns out i'd need to talk to him sooner than I anticipated, my computer died. I hadn't charged it the night before and I didn't realize so I had to see if he had a laptop charger. (THANK GOD) i said to myself, he had a charger i could use.
I continued taking notes till we finished and when we were done i had to talk to him again. "excuse me ummm-" i started, i realized i didn't know his name yet. "you can call me duo!" he said with a smirk "oh okay, could i see your notes for the first page i missed?" I turned red just talking to him. I think he noticed because he just stared at me and smirked but i couldn't look away he was too dreamy. That's only the start of our story.
