Their actual[the headcanon name I gave since he canonically doesnt have a canon name other than the Collector, and I doubt thats an actual name] name/tital:
Their name is Altair [chatgpt helped with making the name], reason being that (please know this is all things CHATGPT says not me im not smart, chatgpt for me was last updated in January 2022-)
1) Altair is a star
2) Altair is apart of a single star system
3) Altair is the brightest star in the constellation 'Aquila' [the Eagle]
4) Altair has a high rotation speed [which fits him having high energy :D]
5) while Altair is apart of a single star system there have been suggestions that Altair has a very faint companion [it really fits too :(]

with the difference of people calling the species collectors/the archivist [I dunno why], so I like to imagine the species used to be called the collectors, but then thought the archivist fit better and sounded smarter.

the Collector eats weird foods and such, they eat raw onions and lemons like apples, they also eat frozen peas and calls it cold peas, and doesnt like cooked peas [based on me 😙 I call frozen peas cold peas and also eat them and also dislike cooked peas, I also eat raw onions, but only when its sliced into pieces and not like they were apples]

the Collector was created from a star shattering, the stardust, rather than getting the star back together, the stardust created Collector, which is why the Archivist just neglected him, 'cause he was different to them, he could bleed and was playful and was created as a child rather than a young adult [which is the age archivist typically are created at], he also was too playful and immature

the Collector was sensory deprived for thousands of years, you think they're gonna be able to handle being able to feel, actually cry, feeling temperatures, feeling textures etc
