Casey x Jay ~ Found

Jay was five years old. When he had been moved to a group foster home. Which was abusive to Jay. He was hoping someone would save him.

"Jay! Get up! You little runt!" Andy ordered.

Jay stood onto shakily legs, and he got picked up.

"You need a lesson." Andy snarled.

Andy pulled Jay's small joggers down, and belted him.

"OUCH!" Jay cried out.

Andy continued belting Jay, until the door got kicked in.

"CHICAGO P.D!" Hank yelled.

Jay heard the older sergeant call out. Which made him smile.

"Get in there!" Andy instructed.

Jay crawled to the closet, and hopped inside.

"YOU! ON YOUR ASS! NOW!" Hank ordered.

Andy got pushed to the ground, and Antonio cuffed him.

When Andy was being dealt with. Matt Casey walked in.

Matt had left 51. As his old partner - Gabby Dawson. Died during a blazing fire. So he decided to join the intelligence unit. Who made him feel welcome.

"There's a closet..." Matt pointed out.

Matt slowly walked over, and opened the closet doors.

It was Jay. Huddled into the corner. His small joggers around his waist. Bruises on his body, and a blackeye visible on his right eye.

"Hey. Little one." Matt smiled.

Jay didn't know who Matt was. So he huddled back again.

"It's okay. I'm a police officer. My name's Matt. What's yours?" Matt kept his voice soft.

Feeling comfortable. Jay came forward, and spoke.

"Little Jay." Jay spoke up.

Matt's heart broke into two. All he wanted to do. Was bring Jay into his warm arms.

"Well. Nice too meet you. Jay." Matt replied.

Matt looked at the closet, and noticed a few clothes. Which were meant for Jay.

"That doesn't look comfy. What do you say, we get you out of here?" Matt suggested.

This was when. Jay shook his head. And huddled back.

"No! Mr Man. Told me to stay put. Or he'll spank my butt butt." Jay babbled.

Matt's came forward, and crouched down.

"Buddy. The bad man. He can't hurt you anymore. Your safe..." Matt promised.

Jay came forward. And fell into Matt's welcoming arms.

"I got you. Little one. Let's get you out of here..." Matt soothed.

Jay snuggled his small body into Matt's arms. And inhaled his scent.

Once Matt got Jay to the ambulance. Brett checked him out.

"His name's Jay. He was hiding in the closet. I think he has some belt burns on his bottom." Matt explained.

Brett nodded, and was gentle while handling Jay.

"Hi. Sweetie. I'm Sylvie. I'm a paramedic. Is it okay, if I look you over?" Sylvie asked.

Jay looked at Matt. Who gave confirmation.

"She won't hurt you. Sylvie's my wife. She's very nice." Matt reassured.

Jay looked at Sylvie, and spoke.

"Mr Man. Hurt me. Gave me ouches." Jay cried.

Sylvie gently placed Jay on her lap, and checked him over.

"Well. Your okay, I got you. Sweetheart..." Sylvie reassured.

Jay cuddled into Sylvie's chest. While inhaling her perfume.

Soon. Matt was allowed to foster Jay. Until they found him a place.

"Mr Matt. Can we sleep with the lights on? I don't like dark. Mr Man. Used to keep me in the dark..." Jay admitted.

Matt pouted, and nodded.

"Of Course! We'll do whatever makes you feel comfortable, and safe." Matt spoke softly.

Jay nodded, and lied on the air mattress.

"Night. Kiddo." Matt whispered.

Matt placed the baby blanket over Jay's body, and tucked him in.

The door opened. Sylvie walked in.

"Hey! I managed to adopt Jay. Michaela couldn't get an emergency placement. So, I decided to take Jay into my custody..." Matt spoke quietly.

Sylvie walked in. And noticed Jay sleeping on the air mattress.

"He's adorable. You did good. Babe. Wish that person who had him before. Wasn't such an abusive asshole." Sylvie spoke with disgust.

Matt gently rubbed his wife's shoulder, and kissed her head.

"Yeah. He's safe. He's with us..." Matt smiled softly.

Jay was sleeping soundly, his thumb in his mouth.

Sylvie and Matt were sleeping on the couch - in each other's arms.
