Story beguns from when Sirat and Karthik died, it is after the funeral was done and Aarohi blamed Akshara for Sirat's death while Goenka's are trying to console Aarohi.
That's when Karthik's Lawyer and Kavya enter the house.
"Lawyer shaab aap, kese aana hua " asked Manish,
"I have come here to read Karthik and Sirat's will," he said,
"And who is she," Manish asked Kavya who just glared at him,
"Apart of the will," said Lawyer
"Ok I will send the kids in," Manish said
"No the kids are also required Manish ji, Can you call your entire family to the hall," the Lawyer requested and Manish went and got his family, along with the kids, on seeing the kids Kavya's eyes softened.
She slowly moved towards them and went on her knees to match their height.
The kids were standing away from the elders so no one really noticed her going towards them.
"Hi baccho," Kavya said softly Kairav being a protective elder brother stood infront of his sisters and questioned Kavya, "Who are you?"
"I am Kavya, your Mumma and Papa's best friend, you can call me di, Kavya, Kavu, ok" Kavya said,
"How can I believe you? " questioned Kairav
"Well you know Lawyer uncle, he will announce in few minutes that I am gonna be taking care of all you, you ask him all your doubts, " Kavya said paitently,
Kairav nodded and dragged his sisters to Lawyer uncle, Kavya followed them,
"Yeah, and according to Karthik and Sirat will the properties will be divided equally among the kids, once they turn 18, before you ask even Aarohi will recieve the singhania's property, and Karthik and Sirat have placed Aarohi Akshara and Kairav in Kavya's custody," said the Lawyer, which the kids heard, that's mean they have to leave there family and stay with a stranger.
"I know kids, it is hard to trust me and stay with a stranger but your mumma and papa wanted it and I am not going to dishonour there last wish," Kavya said,
Manish enrageged shouted "They are our kids, we will not allow them to go with a stranger,"
"Your wish isn't valued Mr. Goenka, and if you make a fuss about it I will get a restraining order against you people," Kavya said with a glare.
"But..." Swarna spoke up,
"Listen Mrs. Goenka Kids will be living with me in Mumbai, and every Summer they will spend their holidays here in this Mansiom if you are not ok this, then I assure the kids will stay permanently in Mumbai with me ans You won't even get a chance to meet them," said Kavya leaving no room for arguments.
"Kids give me your introduction, I want to be your friend," said Kavya looking at the kids with a smile who hadn't heard the conversation due to them talking to lawyer uncle who told them everything.
"I am Kairav," Kairav spoke,
"I am Akshara, you can call me Akshu," Akshara said,
"I am Aarohi, you can call me Aaru," Aarohi said
"Well kids now pack your stuff we have to leave to Mumbai tonight, by the time you are done packing I will get all your legal documents and if you need any help call me, for now just pack the important stuff," said Kavya making thr kids nod and they went to their rooms.
"I want all of their Legal documents, don't argue with me Goenkas because I am their legal guardian and you meeting them or even calling them you need my permission so jf you mess with now, I will mess with your futures," Kavya threatened,
Manish just sighed and nodded, he went and got all there legal documents, In mean while Kavya continued speaking to Lawyer asking him about many things.
Manish handed all legal documents to Kavya who checked everything and nodded, she then went upstairs trying to find the kids, and she managed to find them in their packing all their stuff but Aarohi and Akshara weren't talking to each other, it seemed Kairav was the one who was trying to solve some problem between them.
Kavya locked the door and said "Kids," they all turned towards her.
"Kairav you go and pack i want talk to Akshara and Aarohi," said Kavya to which Kairav nodded and left rectucalntly because he had no idea how to solve the problem between his sisters,
"So Aarohi, Akshara why are you both fighting," asked Kavya,
"She killed my mumma, and papa" Aarohi accused thinking since her mumma asked Kavya to take care of them she will take her side.
"What makes you think so?" Questioned Kavya,
"I saw that day, Mumma fell down from stairs because of Akshara and Nani said that Akshu is the reason why Papa died," said Aarohi a fresh set of tears streamed down Akshara's face,
"Aarohi, ok I will give you an if situation, what if instead of Akshara it was you who Sirat was searching for and died in that process, then Are you her murderer," Kavya asked to whivh Aarohi became silent and begun thinking and she nodded in yes and told "that's what Nani told,"
"Your Nani is a criminal Aarohi, Once we reach Mumbai there are so many things I have to tell you siblings, now listen, what happened was an accident and when God decides to take someone away, no force can stop him," said Kavya,
Kavya pulled both Akshara and Aarohi into a hug and told, "I can understand your pain, even I lost my parents but no one was responsible for that situation, if your mumma and papa saw this they would be very sad, Akshara isn't responsible for what happened Aarohi,"
"But when I told everyone in the house everyone scolded Akshu," said Aarohi,
"Aarohi, you family isn't the best, no one's is bevause we all make mistakes and Goenkas one day they will pamper you like you are their world and the next day they will blame you for something which happened in which you weren't even involved, you know Gonekas treated your mumma like a princess but one day Kairav had went to get ice cream to suprise your mom, and everyone blamed your mom for losing Kairav, that a step mother can never be the real mother, so I am telling you Akshu isn't at fault for what happened, " said Kavya as she rubbed Akshara's back in a comforting manner, and held Aarohi in the other hand.
"So Akshu isn't at fault," Aarohi asked, to which Kavya nodded, Aarohi instantly hugged Akshu and started apologizing continuously,
"It's fine Aaru," Akshara said, Aarohi wouldn't stop crying, she hurt her favourite di, Akshara and Kavya comforted her, she then told Akshara ans Aarohi to take rest and she packed all their clothes, she valled the moving company to move all their toys, ficitional books, photograph, and all clothes as there is limit as to what you can carry on flight.
By 8 P.M. Kavya had finished Kairav Akshara and Aarohi's packing, ans even sent all the stuff to the moving company, Kairav Akshara and Aarohi were sleeping cuddling to each other.
Kavya ordered food from outside, she got kichadi for the kids, and once the order arrived, she put them in four bowls and woke the kids up, she feed them their dinners and told them to freshen up as they will leave in half an hour, by the the kids got ready Kavya had her dinner and took a tablet.
The kids told their family goodbyes and went went Kavya, Akshara and Aarohi have started liking Kavya, Kairav is thankful to her for sorting the fight.
They all reached the airport and borded the flight to Mumbai.
Kavya had booked 10 seats for her and the kids because she didn't need any stranger sitting near the kids and making them feel uncomfortable.
Aarohi slept on top of Kavya while Akshara and Kairav side hugged her and slept. Kavya knew she can no lomger be immature, she had the responsibilty of 3 kids now and she was just 20. Karthik Naira why did you have die so early cursed Kavya in her mind. She knew Sirat and Naira were the same person and she also knew that of she left the kids with Goenka then they will grow up in a toxic environment hating each other. That's reason Naira pleaded with her to take the custody of the kids.
