It has been a week since Kavya and the kids came to Mumbai, Kavya owned her own house in Mumbai which was her little heaven. She had already decorated the kids room, since it was a new environment for them she prepared only two rooms with both the rooms having a two king size beds, so that in case at night all 3 sleep together in the same room or decide to stay in the same room, which was quite true because All 3 of them slept in the same room.
For the past one week Kavya finished all the shifting work she went and got all 3 of there admission in Mumbai's best school. Past week was hectic with her work and all the new responsibilites to top it all she couldn't sleep at night because the kids were having nightmare, so she took care of them at night.
Kavya took the kids to work with her since she couldn't leave them alone, and asked them sit in the extra room of her cabin which she had filled it with toys, the tv had all the child friendly movies, she even got some books for them so that they don't get bored.
Kavya was slowly managing to gain the trust of Aarohi Akshara and Kairav, she gave all 3 of them equal amount of attention, she made sure no one was neglected.
Today was a sunday and finally Kavya had got a holiday, she woke up early in the morning hit the gym and was back before the kids woke up and prepared breakfast, which was aloo paratha.
Once she finished the preparation for breakfast, she went and checked on the kids to find them sleeping peacefully, it was a huge relief for her.
"Wake up muchkins, time for breakfast," Kavya said waking them up,
"5 more minutes," all three of them whined together,
"Baccha today we are supposed to go for shopping and what about the plan to movies, so now get up, " Kavya woke them up, all 3 of them sat grumbling, she sent all 3 of them to the bathroom, she helped Aarohi brush and wash her face, then she left Aarohi to take a bath.
She checked on Akshara and Kairav who said they were big kids and can handel themselves, to which Kavya nodded, She fixed the bed of the kids and then placed there outfit for the day on the bed and she went to kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Akshara was the first one to get ready and come downstairs,
"Akshara please do me a favour and check on Aarohi, if she needs help to get ready please help her to get ready," Kavya requested,
"Ok di," Akshara said and went upstairs to check on Aarohi, that's when her phone rang, it was her P.A.,
"What is it Dev," Kavya asked placing the phone on speaker as she prepared Paratha,
"Kavya we have a new project from Vogue magzines" said Dev in a cheerful tone making her smile.
Kavya had opened her own studio when she was 19, yeah she had no choice in it, but she had to do it, ans she had done one year intership under one of the famous photographers to gain experience, she was slowly gaining fame which was good thing, her work is demanding, so are her studies, she is doing her studies in Bsc in Photography.
Before she had nothing to worry about, now she has to worry about 3 kids, it is a good thing the kids school will start by the end of the month,
"Ok Dev," Kavya said to him to which he said "Kavya if you want any help then I can babysit the kids you still have to manage your studies, projects, assignments, even studio you have to handle it," Dev said in a concerned tone,
"No Dev, I will manage it peace out, the kids need me, especially now when they are in unfamiliar environment and they lost there parents recently so they might be comfortable with you," said Kavya, as she finished preparing the Paratha's.
Akshara Kairav and Aarohi came down stairs, Kavya smiled at them and pointed towards the puja room, the kids understood her words, they went and prayed to Krishna, they thanked him for giving them everything in life.
"I can handle it Dev, if I need help I will ask, I can't disappoint Naira and Karthik," Kavya said and cut the call.
"Good morning sunshine, where do you want to go today," Kavya asked as she sat down with them to eat, she fed all 3 of them the Paratha's.
"The beach di," said Aarohi,
"Yeah we all want to go to the beach first di," said Kairav and Akshara,
Kavya nodded and made them finish their breakfast and gave them each a glass of milk.
"Please kiddo's drink this, I will give you chocolate later on for now drink it without any tantrums," Kavya requested after the kids got comfortable with her they outrightly denied from drinking the milk which they claimed to be poison, the tantrums were a pain but Kavya managed to handle it paitently.
The kids nodded and drank the milk, then Kavya had her breakfast while the kids watched Lion Guard. After finishing her breakfast she grabbed her purse and all 4 of them went out for the day, they went to the beach then went shopping and brought many things for the room.
Kavya even brought a white dream catcher, and space hologram for the kids room. After shopping they went and had lunch.
After lunch Kavya took them to the movies, they watched harry potter which was being replayed on Kavya's request and she had paid enough money for them to replay it and many people were there, so it was a profit for the owners also.
After movies Kavya took the kids out for dinner and once dinner was done Aarohi and Akshara slept of in the hotel by the time Kavya could pay the bill , so Kavya lifted both of them in her arms and made sure Kairav held on to her and went back home.
She put all three of them to sleep and got her laptop out and sat in the kids room as she worked on editing photos for her project, one good thing is that final year was all about feild work, they had no classes but they will have projects and assignments.
By the time she was done it was midnight, she closed her laptop and put eyes drops, she laid down for a while and was about to fall asleep when she heard Kairav's whimpers which woke her up instantly, she went to Kairav and slowly comforted him and put him back to sleep, she had Kairav's head on her lap so slept of leaning against the bed rest.
Life wasn't going to be easy for Kavya, she knew what she had signed up for so she is ready to face any obstacle.
