Jimin let out a satisfied sigh as he settled into the vacant seat on the bus, closing his eyes for a moment of peace.

Leaning his head against the window, he opened his eyes to gaze out at the passing scenery.

But soon, his thoughts drifted to his friends.

Why had Kai and Hobi betrayed him like that? Was it because they didn't want him as their roommate? But they friends, right? Jimin had always been kind and considerate towards them, yet they had still turned their backs on him.

He knew he couldn't simply complain or ask them to like him. If that was their decision, he would respect it.

Wiping away a stray tear that had escaped his eye, he realized he had been silently crying without even noticing.

His circle of friends felt like a sinking ship in the middle of the deep ocean, and he was already drowning in it.

But then, a chuckle escaped his lips. Why would he allow himself to drown when he knew how to swim?

He could save himself from this situation without anyone's help. He refused to let himself appear weak.

With a determined shake of his head, he reached into his sling bag and retrieved his phone, intending to call his parents to pick him up from the bus station.

However, as he unlocked his phone, he couldn't help but exclaim in surprise under his breath.

The first thing he saw on his screen were multiple missed calls from Jungkook.

He rubbed his eyes with his fingers, making sure he wasn't hallucinating.

No, it was real. Jungkook had called him, not once, not twice, but a whopping six times.

A blush instantly spread across Jimin's cheeks, his heart pounding in his chest like a wild animal.

Why had Jungkook been calling him? Did something happen? Jimin touched his flushed face, feeling the heat radiating from within.

And what shocked him even more was when he opened their chat box to see what Jungkook had sent him.
