-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When was the last time you were in love?
I remember my first one
It was nothing like a regular crush.
It was something different.
It was… it was like you’ve never been so alive before.
Ring ring ring!!!
The bell rang and I packed up my things.
“Talky mushrooms. Biology test tomorrow and I don’t know a single thing about it.” I said to myself silently.
In my nervous state, my fingers drop my math textbook.
“Shoot.” I said to myself again.
I reached down to pick it up.
Just then, I felt a soft hand reach for it too.
I stood up to see who it was that was helping me and then I felt a sharp pain on my forehead.
“OW!!! Shit, shit, shit!” I screamed.
I always seem to scream in pain once I get hurt.
Even the slightest pinch will send me yelling and shouting.
Before I realized it, I covered my mouth and gasped.
I looked up and right before me was the son of the Greek goddess, Aphrodite’s, son.
His fair, creamy skin made me shiver so badly that I can’t even seem to stand on my own two feet.
His heavenly green eyes make me feel like I’m wondering deep inside the Amazon rainforest.
His red lips remind me a rose ready to be picked for Valentine’s Day.
His rich chocolate colored hair is like melted chocolate in a hot summer day.
“Oh h-hi!” I stammered.
He smiled a really cute innocent smile. “Hi.”
“Do you need help studying?” He asked.
Well apparently, this guy has really sharp ears.
Or is it because I’m always too loud when I’m talking to myself.
“I- I uh… yes. I guess so.” I replied sheeplishly
“Alright. Then come over to my house this evening and I’ll help you study for the test.”
And with that, he handed me my textbook, wrote on a post-it his address, and took off.
Just like that. Without waiting for my reply.
