Later that night, Mrs. Dillon was watching the news, when the wall was blasted apart. Max's mom shielded her eyes from the debris, before seeing this:

"Hey, Mom..."
Mrs. Dillon gasped.
"Miss me?"
"Max?... Wh- What the hell happened to y-"
Mrs. Dillon got cut off, when her oxygen machine shut off.
"Max!" she weakly gasped, clutching her throat, trying to get air
"A little respect goes a long way."
And with that, Max exited via a nearby power outlet, leaving his mother to die.
