Learning how to fly

Buzzinga looked at the sky, seeing all the different monsters flying in the air. She wanted to fly but as she looked at her deformed wing, she knew it was hopeless. "Hey newcomer!" Buzzinga recognized that voice. She gulped and slowly turned around. A tall blue centaur-like figure with light blue scales and a horn that's also covered in scales. "Your not thinking about trying to fly, aren't you?

"N-No" Buzzinga replied, shaking in fear. "Good." The blue figure said heartlessly as he roughly pushed Buzzinga out of his way. "And just remember, you little freak, don't even try reaching your goal, its. Useless." The blue figure walked off, leaving Buzzinga on the ground and she started tearing up. Her fire died down and she sadly crawled to the hotel.

There, she noticed a white cardboard box in her room with a letter attached to it. She opened it and the paper inside read.

Dear Buzzinga,

We know it's been a bit difficult since you left Fire Haven.

There's new monsters, some mean, some nice. 

We can't be there to protect you from everything.

But there is one monster who can.

You.

Inside the box is what you really wanted.

We're running out out space on this paper so remember,

Buzzinga put down the paper and felt her fire grow to a decent amount. She opened up the box and found a prosthetic wing from the monster handlers. She smiled, ran to the mirror and put it on. It fit perfectly. 

She went outside, more confident than ever before and stood on the edge of the island. Her face got hit by the wind blowing and prepare to fly before...

"HEY!" It was the blue figure again. But this time Buzzinga wasn't letting him ruin her fire again. "What. Did. I. Tell. You." The blue figure commanded as he walked towards her. Buzzinga looked at him and replied, Buzzinga didn't answer and instead flapped her wings and took off
