Ellie's Pov
Alright Ellie you did good for your first week of teaching... You just have to get along with your co-workers now. The talks around the school grew about me, the new Muggle studies teacher. I couldn't wrap my head around the images on my head from my other coworker.

Severus Snape, head of his house Slytherin he was feared by so many of the students no matter the house they were in. Add on the students bustling excitement about the Tri Wizard Cup, and two other schools joining.

I had joined the perfect time on staff for this year. During the bustling loud exclaims of the dining hall. I played with my food slightly, a thin frown on my face for a moment I felt sick. A little weak. I couldn't even look him in the eyes.. Each time I did the memory, I would see of him he had so much hidden pain in them.

"How are your teachings going Ellie?" I jolted slightly my fork slightly stabbing into the vegetables. I laughed casually focusing on Minerva. She gave me such a kind look drinking from her cup.

"It's a lot more exciting I didn't think the children were going to be so eager to learn about muggle things. I'm teaching them about the TVs." A soft laugh bubbled out from her lips.

I took the time to glance down the staff table to see Snape focused on his cup, drinking from it muttering to a few other teachers that were on either side of him.

"Television what a strange device." Albus boomed out wiping at his mouth. I found myself holding back my laughter gulping while the nauseous feeling gutted my entire building.

Once again we had locked eyes again his narrowing a bit in confusion. I shut my eyes roughly hearing his younger self speaking into my mind the memory playing roughly.

"She's jealous of you, because she's ordinary and your special."

"That's mean Severus." I blinked hard the pain ringing over my skull like it waa crushing me, gently pushing away my plate and cup of water. I spoke to Albus seeing him giving me a look.

"I'm going to retire for the night. My head is killing me I'll see you all tomorrow." I stood my robe moving with me. I brushed my hands over my dress before, I was rushing down the staff table leaving the great hall with haste heading to my sleeping counters.

I was briefly down the hall listening to my shoes hitting the stone floor when a rough voice was speaking behind me.

"It seems every time you make eye contact with me you run away with your tail between your legs. Am I frightening?" I winced again just from hearing his voice in such close proximity of my own.

I spun around to face the dark long haired male seeing him glare at me a bit.

My fingers pressed over my temple a couple times once we both stood in front of one another. "Of course not your just a man. Scary or not, I'm not frightened of you Severus opposite actually." I clicked my tongue a few times.

I should be fine to stare in his eyes seeing I've already saw something.

Both our eyes met in a instant. It felt cliche to think but he was a handsome older man. I saw his lips briefly twitch. "Then why run Ellie?" It was now my turn to keep frowning speaking all that I know.

"I've been here for a week Severus. You came to my classroom on my first day and we locked eyes I saw something in you and it's scaring me that I can't meet those pretty eyes of yours cause of it." His arms were tightly folded into his robes his shoes clicking against the stone as well.

He took a deep step towards me again, staring deep into my eyes like he was trying to study something.

"It is said that you were born with no magical powers. What is it you see in my eyes? We can't work properly if you avoid me." I faintly smiled averting from his gaze for a while.

"From what I observe you don't have a taste for people in general. I'm glad I actually got to spoke to you Severus." I dipped my head a bit down in a greeting, goodbye and a goodnight turning around for a moment. I was halfway down the hall before he was calling out to me even louder.

"Ellie, if you could cast a Patronum spell.. You would like it to be in the shape of swan." I felt my entire body tense up for a second freezing on spot.

I.. No one knows that.. Its a memory of mine when I was young I fell in a lake and my mom came to save me screaming. I saw a rare black swan that night, and I wanted that spell to be in that shape if I could cast it.

"That's a memory of mine when I was seven.. How do you?" I spun around again to see him still watching before he also bidding me goodnight walking back to the great hall.
