Ellie's Pov
Curse these magic and this slightly stupid school. Of course I didn't mean that entirely my job was fun and sometimes tough at times. And with a needed break like other normal Muggle schools. Teachers had breaks for when they weren't teaching and here I was.
Like I was a lost school girl sitting in the transfiguration court yard hugging my robes acting like, I was reading you these huge books. No here I was watching Severus yelling at some students.
He just looked done with them glaring mindless like. Just scaring a lot of first years in being late. I just studied him. How could one man be attractive? The shoulder length black hair, the features I signed dramatically. I was trying to just explain the memory shift between us two.
Maybe he was experiencing the same thing as me. It made me gulp, who just sees memories of someone by looking in their eyes. I do believe Severus is a legilimens. Maybe he was reading my mind? The ideas were endless. He was pacing in his spot once again, I felt his eyes on me snapping over like fire. I pretended back to reading tucking my book close to myself.
I heard a soft clearing of the throat, tilting my head up to stare at Severus watching him shift a bit on his shoes, cloak moving with him while he folded his arms into his sleeves. "Good afternoon Ellie, I take your lessons have been going well?" I casually shut the book putting them to the side giving him a kind smile gesturing that he could sit besides me on th bench. He looked hesitate before he sat down giving space between us.
"They've been lovely. I'm doing a project for the children, they are two divided because of status so 'pure blood' are being paired with Muggle born they'll teach them their history and what not." This man actually looked interested to listen to me, though his lips forms a thin line he was nodding along with me adding into his own commentary.
"I don't mean to interrupt or maybe I do. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable with airing your business out. It's just what I saw and it's bothering me that I keep seeing things." I wasn't too sure if my body has froze it already was. I felt tense before I spoke stammering over the older man.
"I keep seeing you too! I mean it's like little you, and sometimes older you but there's this red head green eyed girl." It felt as if I was speaking too fast gesturing with my hands. When Severus was grabbed me by the shoulders to stare at him.
"You've been seeing my memories too!" His exclaim had me almost recalling back holding a small yelp.
"Well yeah- that's why I've been avoiding you it just seems to personal to be seeing my co- worker sobbing in his memories. Wait what else have you seen?" It was now my turn to exclaim at him. Passing students were giving the strangest looks. It now had him turning his head a little while gulping.
"Just you falling into the lake. The other day during dinner I saw this one memory were it was during your Hogwarts year you fell out of your chair during the sorting ceremony and went to the hospital wing." I rubbed my palm over my face in embarrassment grumbling up a loose storm.
"I don't think its entirely normal for us to be seeing one another's memories especially embarrassing ones. What If I see you losing your virginity huh?!"
"Would you keep your voice down you idiot!" I narrowed my eyes at him, seeing he also looked shameful for a moment. "It is bothersome and its beyond any spells I know. We need to do research. It's distracting me immensely. If I'm doing research you need to as well. You don't even have magic you can't be reading my mind."
I gathered up my stuff from his harsh speaking voice, the breeze running through my curls in place.
"Stating the obvious sure is helping. I'll do my own research as well. Don't talk to me like I'm a child." My shoulders sank back, allowing for me to release the tension in my shoulders.
"Sorry for snapping. I'll do my research tell me if you find anything." He scoffed out a little before reluctantly agreeing with me.
"Fine likewise. I'll see you at dinner." Like word vomit, I wanted to exclaim back at him but he was already storming away with an annoyed expression. Leaving me with my thoughts, with the possibility of them running endless for the rest of the day.
Well this certainly is seriously more tricky then I was expecting. I don't want a headache from this.
