Chapter 11 : Secretary, Assistant, and Hubby?

After showering and getting ready, (Y/N) went to Ei's office and started to work on his own desk, he started to work on some papers, filing and organizing documents related to government affairs of Inazuma and managing and looking over Ei's schedule of meetings for the day. Today didn't have a lot of meetings though so Ei finished her meetings early on the after noon. It was about 4 P.M. and (Y/N) wanted to take a break, so he decided to get something to eat outside, he went up to Ei to ask her if she wanted anything.

(Y/N): I'm going outside for a bit to get some food, want me to buy you anything?

Ei: Oh, I'm good thanks, (Y/N).

(Y/N): You sure?

Ei: Mhm, be safe going out okay?

(Y/N) chuckled, he found Ei worrying about him endearing.

(Y/N): I'm not a kid y'know...

Ei: I know, I know, just worried that's all.

Ei went back to reviewing some papers that Sara gave her earlier. (Y/N) then walked to the door of the office.

(Y/N): I'm off, Ei! Gonna be back in a bit!

Ei: Okay! See ya!

(Y/N) flashed a warm smile at Ei before leaving the office.

Meanwhile at the city

(Y/N) looked and wandered around at the city and the street food stands, after looking at his options, (Y/N) decided to get some Takoyaki and a Rice Ball. After eating what he bought, he then decided to get some extra Takoyaki and some Dangos then walked back to the palace.

Earlier at the office when (Y/N) left

Feeling fatigued, Ei stretched and let out a happy and contend sigh on her chair.

Ei: Ahh~ having a secretary and a personal assistant is the beeest~ All I needed to do today was to attend a few meetings and review and sign some papers~ Thank youuu (Y/N), for everything~...I should treat him to something every end of the week...

Ei then leaned back more into her chair and rested a bit, not long after and she started getting hungry.

Ei: Ugh, I should've get (Y/N) to buy me something...wonder where he's at...

After a bit of walking, (Y/N) finally got back to the palace and walked into the office.

(Y/N): I'm back, ma'am~

(Y/N) teased at Ei by calling her "ma'am" but Ei doesn't mind it because she actually finds it adorable...well (Y/N) was an exception...she still doesn't like being called like that by Thoma though.

Ei: Oh! Welcome back, my secretary~

Ei teased back at (Y/N). The both of then couldn't help but giggle at the teasing.

(Y/N): What's with the nicknames all of the sudden?

Ei: I just though it would be lovely~

Ei then chuckled to her self again.

Ei: I mean, it definitely fits you though~

While they were teasing at each other, Ei noticed that (Y/N) was holding a paper bag when he came back.

Ei: Oh? What did you buy?

Ei pointed at the paper bag, (Y/N) looked at the bag then back at Ei.

(Y/N): Oh I forgot, it's for you actually, I thought you might be hungry so I bought you some anyway.

(Y/N) then settled his things on his desk before going up to Ei's desk and putting the paper bag on her desk. Ei then opened the bag and she saw the Takoyaki and Dango that (Y/N) bought earlier. Ei started to eat with a smile, finding the gesture adorable.

Ei: Mmm! The Takoyaki tastes so gooood~! And you even bought me my favorite! Thank you, my secretary~! I was actually getting hungry so yeah...hehe~

(Y/N) couldn't help but smile and be proud of himself, he then chuckled to himself.

(Y/N): I knew you'd be hungry~

In Ei's head

Ei: OH MY GOD! HE'S SO HUBBY MATERIAL! I WAS LITERALLY CRAVING FOR DANGOS TOO EARLIER!

Back to reality

(Y/N) noticed that Ei was blushing slightly while she was lost in her own though, (Y/N) he shrugged it off and nevermind it.

(Y/N): Anyway, I'll just be at my desk organizing some stuff then I'll cook us dinner after.

Ei's blush intensifies and gets more noticeable, she gets a bit shy all of the sudden then she said sheepishly.

Ei: Oh, alright...thank you...

(Y/N): Don't mentioned it...

(Y/N) went back to his desk and got busy again. Ei can't help but to sneak some glances at him while she was eating, she gets lost in thought again.

In Ei's head

Ei: God, I love this man...

Back to reality

(Y/N) noticed that Ei has been staring at him, He looked at her and it made her blush more out of embarrassment and it caused her to avert her gaze and turn her chair so she would be looking at the windows behind her, the back of her chair facing (Y/N). (Y/N) couldn't help but to chuckle and smile to himself.

(Y/N): God, her blush is just everything. How can she be that cute?
