When lunch came around, Maya and I learned that Cameron had ended up going to his gym class.

I picked at the cheese pizza I picked up from the cafeteria with distaste. The pizza at this school tasted like cardboard, as Cameron would put it. Nothing else was any better. Since schools were required to use healthier ingredients. All the food now just made you want to throw it up as soon as it hit your tastebuds.

"These fries taste like ass," Cameron complained as he wiggled the fry in the air.

"That's an interesting way of admitting you eat ass, Cam." Maya snorted.

Cameron just shrugged. "I would rather be the one getting my ass eaten. Especially by Adam Madden. I may hate the gym, but seeing that man with his clothes off in the locker room is the highlight of my day."

Maya put her head in her hands as I fell into a fit of giggles. Cameron has no filter whatsoever.

Maya grumbled as she put down her sandwich, "So much for a nice civilized lunch."

"How is swooning over hot guys uncivilized?" Cameron challenged.

"The part when you say you want to have your ass eaten by them."

"Honesty is the best policy."

"Not when I am trying to eat."

"Okay, guys, settle down." I chuckled.

Maya rolled her eyes and continued eating the sandwich she packed for herself. Cam would try to take something from her bag, and she would slap his hand, making him cry dramatically. They acted like siblings. That used to be my brothers at one point, and I missed it more than anything.

"How are things going with your brothers?" Maya asked, snapping me out of my trance.

"The same. Dash is working nonstop. Draven and Pilot are never home or high as a kite or hungover when they are home." I sigh.

"What about Draven's friend? Is he still bothering you?" Maya questioned.

"What? No. He and his friends just ignore me like always." I lied.

"You are an awful liar, girl." Cameron scoffs.

"Blair, I'm being serious. There is something off about Braydian. I have seen him before at one of Skylar's parties. He gives me the creeps." Maya says.

Skylar is my cousin. She's currently a senior this year, and I can't wait for her to graduate. She was the Regina George of our school. She loved to torment me at school and when we had family gatherings when I was younger. My aunt and mom had a big fallout over me when I was about ten, so we no longer had to play nice when we had to be around one another. She has always been a complete bitch.

"He just talks to me sometimes, Maya, that's it," I say, wishing she would drop it.

"What does he say?" she pressed.

"Maya, can you just drop it, please?" I snap.

Maya raises an eyebrow at me, and Cameron looks between the two of us uneasily.

"I'm not trying to be a bitch, Blair. I'm just worried about you. Both of us are." She motions to Cameron, who nods.

"I know, Maya. I'm sorry. I'm fine, though, okay? I promise. He hasn't done anything." I tell her.
