I could feel the cloth running against my skin. It was warmed, which I was grateful for. This was the first time in a long time that I had a bath. "Turn around for me, my dear." He said as I turned to face him. "Do you have any questions for me?" Sir asked his breath was also warm against my skin the smell of cooked meat.
I bowed my head in thought as I thought about his question. I had a plethora of questions for him. What were scaly things connected to his person? Did he always want to share a room together? Why was he so kind to me? Did he want something in return for all he had done for me?
I finally settled on one as I raised my head. "May I feel your face? I want to know what you look like." I said, my voice coming out shaky as I felt him run the cloth between my breasts. "I am only cleaning you, Nyx. Yes, you may, " Sir said as he seemed to lower himself so I could reach.
Reaching my hands out in front of me, they connect with a head of hair. It was wet and slightly curly. Reaching behind his head, I feel a braid of hair. I wished I could see the color as I brought my hand forwards feeling two stumps. Grabbing onto slide my hands upward before feeling the pointy end of them. "Be careful. My horns are sharp." Sir said. Gasping slightly, I move my hand the indentation of his eyes, I wondered what color they were. Red? A cloudy storm of gray? Or maybe a blue?
Feeling his cheekbones, I feel hair on his upper lip connecting to his cheeks that connect to his hair line. It reminded me of the potato sack that I wore not so long ago. It was scratchy and itchy but soft at the same time. I wandered to his chest, feeling the broadness of it. He was strong. It's stronger than any man I had ever met. Before I knew it, my hands were getting carried away. His entire being rippled with muscle that was sewn with power.
My hands wandered across his torso, feeling and comparing him to Master Glendale. Where Master Glendale was short and pudgy, his stomach bloated with ale. Sir stomach was taunt, formed into abs. Sir could probably lift a whole house while Master Glendale could barely stand up straight most days.
Hearing a throat being cleared, I come to my senses, I snatch my hands back my cheeks hot with embarrassment. "What are the things that are behind you, sir?" I asked, hoping he knew what I was talking about. "They are my wings. All draconian wings and horns are displayed on their persons. The bigger the wings and the sharper the horns, means the more present one's dragon is." Sir said. Nodding, I continued to stand in the water.
"Let us see what the cooks have prepared for us." He says, lifting me out of the water. As the air turns my skin cold, I shiver slightly. Something dry and fluffy was rubbed against my body. "Please dress her for the day." He says, and a murmured 'Yes King Draco' was followed.
"I'll be just outside, my dear. The maids will help you get dressed." Sir said as he left. I nodded as he walked out of the room, probably to get dressed himself. I'm directed to another room made to stand. The maids quietly worked and fussed over which dress I should wear. Soon, they stopped quarreling, putting me in a dress, pulling the corset tight. Once the dress was on, one of them pulled and tugged at my hair. "So many tangles in such gorgeous hair." One said as they pulled and yanked at my hair.
Eventually, it stopped as they left my hair down a small weight placed at the end. They led me to Sir, down the hall, turn left, up a flight of stairs, turn right. Hearing a chair scrapping across the floor, a large hand takes my own, directing me to a seat. "You look extraordinary, my dear. It's an absolute dream." He said as I murmured a small 'thank you'. "Today, the chefs had laid out an assortment of fruit. Dragon fruit, apple slices, jackfruit, and persimmon. Along with smoked gouda cheese, some aged meat and bread." He said enthusiastically.
As we both sat down, Sir stated, handing me fruit that was delicious, to say the least. They paired well with the cheese, meat, and bread. But Sir was feeding me by hand. "Sir, why are you feeding me from your hand?" I asked as my brows drew together. "My dear, you remember when I told you about the eternal flame. I also said that we court each other for a period of time. I want to feed you." He says to me. "Do I have to feed you as well?" I asked. "It is customary yes for eternal flames to take care of each other. But I have no need for you to court me. Unless you want to feed me." He said a sly smile surely on his face.
Releasing a breath, I feel around on the table, grabbing a piece of fruit in my hand before directing it to him. He opened his mouth, eating the fruit in one bite. "It's delicious, my dear." He says, the weight of his eyes on me. Like a predator looking at its prey. Once we finished up our meal, Sir scooped me up his forearm under my arse. "Sir, what do I look like?" I ask offhandedly.
"You have a small head, tanned skin like you've been working in the sun. Long black silky hair. It's thick like a horses mane. Your face and body are gaunt like you haven't eaten regularly all your life. But your eyes are the most striking part about you. They remind me of sea moss. Different shades of blues and green. But it's a foggy color. It's not completely dead but not cherishing life. You are beautiful, my dear."
