surprise vacation

You woke up to the sound of your phone ringing, causing you to groggily reach for it on your bedside table. As you rubbed the sleep out of your eyes, you saw that the caller ID said it was your best friend, Sana. Still half asleep, you answered the call.

"Hello?" you yawned into the phone.

"Y/N! Guess what?" Sana's voice was filled with excitement.

"What is it?" you asked, hoping that it wasn't something urgent.

"So you know how you've been talking about wanting to go on a vacation for ages?" Sana began.

"Yeah..." you replied, not sure where this was going.

"Well, pack your bags because I took you on a surprise vacation!" Sana exclaimed.

Your eyes widened in surprise and disbelief. "Wait, what? Are you serious?" you asked, sitting up in bed now.

"Completely serious. I planned it for weeks, and I even got the rest of the girls to help me out. We left in two days," Sana said, her voice filled with excitement and joy.

You could hardly contain your excitement as you thanked Sana a million times and told her how amazing she was. After you hung up, you jumped out of bed and started packing your bags. You had no idea where you were going, but you trusted Sana to plan an amazing vacation for the both of you.

Two days later, you met Sana at the airport, and she handed you your plane ticket. Your eyes widened in surprise once again as you saw that you were going to Hawaii—your dream destination.

"Sana, you didn't have to..." you started, but she cut you off with a smile.

"I wanted to. Plus, you deserved it after all the hard work you've been putting in," she said, giving you a warm hug.

The flight to Hawaii was long, but you didn't mind at all. You spent the time catching up with Sana, talking about your favorite TWICE songs, and planning out all the things you wanted to do while in Hawaii.

Finally, after what felt like forever, you arrived in Hawaii and were greeted with warm sunshine and a gentle ocean breeze. Sana took your hand and led you to a luxurious resort, where you stayed for the week.

"This place is beautiful," you said, as you took in the stunning views of the ocean and the lush green surroundings.

"I knew you would love it," Sana replied, her smile widening.

As you settled into your room, Sana handed you an itinerary for the week. Your heart filled with excitement as you saw all the incredible things she had planned for you. You couldn't believe how thoughtful and generous she was.

"So, which one did you like to do the most?" Sana asked eagerly.

You scanned the list, and your eyes immediately landed on "Luau Night." You had always wanted to experience a traditional Hawaiian feast with hula dancing and fire performances.

"Let's do the Luau!" you exclaimed.

Sana grinned and nodded in agreement. "Great! It was tonight at 6 p.m., so we had the whole day to explore," she said.

You quickly changed into your swimsuit, and Sana did the same before heading out to the beach. The water was crystal clear, and the sand was soft beneath your feet. You both ran towards the ocean, laughing and splashing each other with water. You felt carefree and happy, with not a worry in the world.

After some time in the water, you both lay on the beach, soaking up the sun and chatting about everything and anything.

As the evening approached, you headed back to the resort to get ready for the Luau. Sana lent you a beautiful traditional Hawaiian dress to wear, and you couldn't help but feel like a Hawaiian princess as you put it on. The two of you made your way to the Luau, and as soon as you entered, you were greeted with the sound of live music and the mouth-watering smell of roasted pig.

Sana led you to the best spot, right next to the stage, where all the performances would take place. You watched in awe as dancers in colorful costumes moved gracefully to the beat of the music, and fire dancers performed daring stunts.

She laughed and clapped along with the crowd, and you couldn't help but join in. You had never felt so happy and carefree. After the show, you both filled your plates with delicious food and sat down to enjoy the feast. Sana told you all about the different dishes and encouraged you to try everything. You took a bite of the slow-roasted pig, and it melted in your mouth.

"This is amazing!" you exclaimed, with your mouth full. Sana laughed and nodded, clearly enjoying watching you enjoy the food.

As the night went on, you danced, ate, and laughed with Sana under the stars. You felt like you could stay in this moment forever.

The next day, Sana surprised you with a helicopter tour of the island. You both soared above the beautiful beaches, jungles, and waterfalls, and you felt like you were in a movie. She also pointed out all the important landmarks and told you interesting facts about the island, and you couldn't thank her enough for this incredible experience.

As your vacation came to an end, you spent your last night in Hawaii watching the sunset at the beach. You looked over at Sana, and she looked back at you with so much love and happiness in her eyes. You couldn't help but smile, and you felt your heart skip a beat. It was moments like these that made you realize just how much you loved her.

As you sat in silence, watching the waves crash against the shore, you started to wonder if there was more to this surprise vacation than just a simple gesture of love. Sana had been planning this for months, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was everything you ever dreamed of. Could there be another reason why she brought you to Hawaii? The way she looked at you and treated you with such care and attention made you wonder if she felt the same way about you as you did about her.

"Y/N, there's something I have to tell you," she said, breaking the peaceful silence between you.

"I brought you to Hawaii, not just because it's your dream destination," Sana said, intertwining her fingers with yours. "I also wanted to show you a different side of me—a side that you might not have seen before."

You furrowed your brows in confusion, not sure what she meant.

"I know I can be silly and over-the-top sometimes, but I wanted you to see that I can also be romantic and thoughtful," Sana explained, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

Suddenly, everything made sense. You could see now that Sana had been trying to show you how much she cared for you through all the surprises and gestures throughout this trip.

"Sana, you don't have to prove anything to me. I already know how much you mean to me," you said, squeezing her hand.

She smiled and leaned in to give you a soft yet passionate kiss. "I'm glad you feel that way, because I love you," she whispered against your lips.

Your heart skipped a beat, and you couldn't contain your smile. All this time, you had been wondering about her intentions and hoping for something more, and now, here she was, expressing her love for you.

You wrapped your arms around her and pulled her in for a tight hug. "I love you too, Sana," you said, feeling a wave of emotions wash over you.

You both stayed at the beach, watching the sunset and talking about your feelings for each other until the stars came out. There was a sense of peace and happiness that filled your heart, and you knew that this vacation would be a memory you would always cherish.
