Tremble

Its midnight, my brother hasn't gotten home,
Im worried sick. I feel something is off
I dialed his phone several times but he doesn't answered.

Maybe he's drunk again and maybe he's at work. I decided to go downstairs the lights are still lit open, I opened the tv, and i walked to the kitchen to get something to eat while i wait for Feirn to be back at home, so i can scold him.

I opened the refrigerator to check if we still have a freshmilk and chocolate "Hmm... he didn't even cared to throw the empty box of milk again?!"
I muttered as I grabbed it and puts it on the counter beside me.

"I think ill just have milk for now" i murmured after getting one box of freshmilk and transferring it to a glass

I go back to the livingroom, and sits there in silence with the glass of milk in my left hand,
Im listening to the news while i stare out from the window, the weather is still rainy.

I dont mind rainy seasons though,
"What took him so long to go home? And he hasn't even calling me yet, where are you Feirn?"
I murmured after i took a long sip on my milk.

Time had passed, i checked the clock and it says 2:36 Am, i shouldn't be up this time,
I should be sleeping right now, i have to attend a event tomorrow argh?!

Im now laying on the couch watching something on the tv to keep me awake, i switched the channels, clicks, clicks, clicks...

A sudden slap of reality came when i got to the news.
"Breaking Report: The body of a Man, identified as A part of the most known Mobster was found abandoned in a Park. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of death, which has been determined to be a head shot. Two bullets were found in the body. Police suspect that a crime of passion could be money disputes. More updates will be provided as the case is being investigated."

"NO...n-no...NOOO.!" I shake my head frantically, i feel my heart burn, i burst out.
"NOOOOO..FEIRN!! You.. cant. Be... feirn.." I wail in despair seeing the news my hands are shaking my body is trembling
Until i struggle to breathe and fall down on my knees.

I get up and rushed to get a money and im still wearing a pajama, i dont care. All i care rightnow is to go and see Feirn. I stuggled getting a money from my piggybank im trembling and my hands are shaking as i tries to grab a dollar in my piggy. I whimper until i decided to destroy my biggy bank, its a glass, i Throw it to the floor until it breaks, glass scattered on the floor i rush getting the money from the scatterd glass I grabbed the penny's and papers.

My fingers got cut and bleeds, i whine a little and run off our house. I run and run, my heart is pounding, im sweating cold, crying.

I reached the road and i wait for an uber to pull off the road. "FOR GOD SAKE!! I NEED TO GET TO FEIRN PLEASEE!" I wail after an uber passed me and didn't let me in because they're already full. Im soak at the rain.

"Please... feirn.. i need to go to feirn.." I continue whimpering to the side of the road
I feel like a broken glass, i look at my hands my blood from the cuts are gone because of the rain. I feel hopeless.

A Dark Blue car pulled off and a tall man get out from his car, i lift up my head the rain and look at the man in a grey suit, he's eyes are blue, and has a tanned skin, he kneel down infront of me, I couldn't speak. I sobbed in pain. He palmed both my cheeks

"Hey? Miss are you okay? Do you need help!?" The only thing i hear is the sound of the rain getting heavy and my sobbed. Until i nods and let out my words "Help... me please.." i uttered as he help get me up

"Alright get into the car, I'll help you" He demanded, hes voice is soft and husky at the same time. I get into his car dripping wet from the heavy rain, so was him.

I sobbed. He starts the engine and starts driving off.

"where do you want me to take you miss?"
I look at him, he's looking at me with worried on his face as he spoke softly.
"To the police." I sniffled and he starts to drove
He didn't asked me anything about it, why im wailing to the side of the road, the whole ride was silent.

A lot of things are running into my mind, Feirn who killed you? why? You're not a bad person.
Why they take you. Why did you left me already?!  I haven't even said goodbye. You hurt me.

He gaze at me for a second, and he pulled off to the side of the road near to the station before unlocking the door,
I was ready to left the and run inside the police station. When he pulled my hand before i even get out, his hand is warm gripping my wrist gently, i look back to him tears running down my cheeks.

He spoke in a gentle tone "If you need me call me." He pulled out a calling card and he gave it to my hand and he finally let me go. I dont know what to react. I ran gripping his calling card from my hands as i entered the Police station. My heart is pounding and my breathing is rapid.

Every stepped that i take i feel like throwing up, the police is caught up as they saw me enter soaking wet from the rain, they approached me
And they asked lots of question.

"Miss, are you alone?"

"She's trembling, get her a blanket"

"Calm down miss, here have a seat and we'll talk about what happened...okay?"
A police officer wrapped a black blanket around me as he and the police women make me sit beside the table, i sob, im trembling, i cant stop it, they just tries to calm me down.

"What happened? Is someone chasing you? Huh? Miss? Tell us"
The lady is trying to comfort me and i burst out
"I..My Brother...I saw the news.. where is he?!"

Both of the police looked at eachother in confusion. And the other looked at the record

"Look at the recent report" the police searched for a recent incident, and he gave her a confused answer
"Its the unknown man that happened earlier."
The police officer handed the file and gave me the picture from the inside that had took earlier in the crime scene.
"Is he your brother?" She asked as she hand me file

I look at the picture, my heart is pounding rapidly, and i start to whine more after seeing feirns Dead body picture,
"FEIRN!" I whimpers in agony, he's dead.

"We'll take you to his body, follow us."
I couldn't breathe anymore, im trembling my eyes are so swollen and the tears on my cheeks are dripping nonstop, im shaking uncontrollably.

They take me to his body. Its hard to take in.
I while in range.
"WHO DID THIS TO YOU!" I cried even more, seeing and hugging his deadbody,

"the reports have said that its planned, and we have the footage of the man that is lastly seened with him before he died."
I gritted my teeth in anger and grief.
