Chapter 9

Rune carefully settled into the warm water of the large tub, cradling Hollis on his lap. Even with the cooling water against her skin, a sheen of perspiration still slicked her brow.

"What's happening to me?" she whispered, her voice laced with confusion and a hint of panic.

"You drank my blood," Rune explained, his voice low and steady. "Dragons are... intensely driven. Our blood is potent. That's why it's used to make what you humans call love potions."

A nervous giggle escaped Hollis, a touch of hysteria in her laughter as Rune rolled his eyes.

"Don't you dare move," he warned, his grip tightening slightly.

"Why?" she teased, a playful glint in her blue eyes, testing his boundaries.

"Or I'll fuck you for the entire day," he growled, his eyes flashing with molten gold, a clear indication he was not jesting.

Hollis stilled instantly, the playful spark in her eyes replaced with a mixture of apprehension and burgeoning desire.

He turned her so her back was pressed against his chest, her legs draped over the edge of the tub. Before she could fully comprehend his intent, two thick fingers plunged deep inside her, eliciting a sharp cry of surprise, her voice echoing his name.

"Call me Talco," the voice that rumbled against her ear was deeper, more primal, almost unrecognizable, yet she knew it was still Rune, the dragon within. "You're a virgin."

"Don't stop," Hollis gasped, her moans filling the steamy air as his arousal pressed hard against her backside.

"Do not come yet," Talco commanded, his fingers moving with increasing urgency.

"It's too much!" Hollis cried out, her body arching against him.

He swiftly lifted her from the tub, water cascading down their bodies, and carried her to the new bed. He laid her down gently, and her eyes widened at the sheer size of his engorged cock, now fully on display.

"This is going to hurt," Talco murmured, his golden eyes burning with a fierce intensity.

Fire seemed to lick at her skin as he entered her slowly, stretching her with agonizing care. Hollis fisted the sheets, a strangled cry escaping her lips as he finally filled her completely.

"Relax," he commanded, his voice a low growl. Surprisingly, her body seemed to obey, the tension slowly ebbing away under his dominant tone. He kissed her lips softly, patiently waiting for her to adjust to his size.

He began to move slowly, rhythmically, until soft moans of pleasure replaced her earlier cries of discomfort. Her nails dug into his back as he deepened his thrusts, his control teetering on the edge. His claws extended slightly, digging into the mattress, and his teeth grazed her neck before sinking into the soft flesh.

Hollis gasped, her body convulsing beneath him as she reached the peak of her pleasure. Talco kissed the mark on her neck, a possessive claim, as he released his seed deep within her. He cradled her face, his gaze tender as he looked at her, her flushed skin and dazed eyes making her breathtakingly beautiful.

He kissed her lips again, a softer, more intimate touch, before slowly withdrawing from her body.

"Stop hurting now?" he asked, his golden eyes softening back to their usual dark violet. Hollis nodded, her body still trembling. He grabbed a soft towel and gently cleaned her. He then suckled on her nipple, eliciting a soft gasp and a deep blush. "You belong to me now," he murmured possessively.

"I think it's the other way around," Hollis whispered, a small, satisfied smile on her lips.

He chuckled, a low, rumbling sound, and kissed her cheeks. "Get some rest."

"Don't go," she pleaded, her hand reaching for his.

"I'll be here when you wake up," he promised, settling beside her and pulling her close. She snuggled against him, her breathing soon evening out. He waited until she was deeply asleep before finally succumbing to his own exhaustion.
