The Knight of Narnia (Marauders x Narnia crossover)

Chapter Three

Arrival at Hogwarts

After the Sorting Ceremony and dinner, all students were dismissed to their common rooms. Thankfully, the Marauders hadn't pranked her yet.

Artemis headed to her Slytherin dorm, which she didn't share with anyone. Her parents had payed Slughorn, the Head of Slytherin, so she could have her own dorm. She was a pureblood after all. The Greengrasses were one of the Sacred 28. They had to be the best of the best.

In her dorm

When Artemis went to sleep, she had a dream. It was very strange. 

Artemis' Dream

When she woke up, she was in a snowy forest. She was no longer wearing her pyjamas, but what seemed like a fur coat with mens' trousers and a muggle-school style shirt. If only her parents could see her now. They'd be furious.

Artemis walked further into the forest until she saw a cat. It had a black fur coat with bright turquoise stripes. Artemis called for the cat to come to her. But what she didn't expect was the cat to talk back to her.

"Are you done calling for me? I am a cat and not a dog you know."

In shock, Artemis stuttered out, "You, you, you're a cat."

"Wow, well done. How smart are you?" the cat snarked.

"You can talk!" Artemis exclaimed, surprised.

"Yes, I can. All of us Talking Beasts can. I'm Chess. Short for Cheshire. Now, what's your name, Daughter of Eve?" Chess asked.

"I'm Artemis Greengrass. By Daughter of Eve, do you mean a woman? And where are we?"

"Yes, I meant that you are a woman. And we are in Narnia, Aslan's country, Lady Greengrass."

"Just Artemis please.  Who's Aslan? And why did you call me Lady Greengrass?"

"Aslan is the true ruler of this world. He will be one day. But the White Witch runs the world currently. Her real name is Jadis and she is the reason it is eternal winter here. I referred to you as Lady because of the prophecy. It states that:

When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone 

Sits at Cair Paravel in throne, 

The evil time will be over and done. 

It refers to two Sons of Adams and two Daughters of Eve becoming the Rulers of the new Narnia."

"But where am I in this then?" Artemis asked curiously.

"You are the Knight of Narnia. You will be Narnia's army's General. The Narnian Warrior. The True Sorceress. Without all five of you, the prophecy will never be fulfilled. And the new Narnia will never exist."

"You've forgotten one thing Chess. This is all a dream. It's just my imagination. When I wake up, this will all be gone."

"Ah. Well, let me know if you feel anything."

"What do you mea- AH!" Artemis jumped in surprise.

The talking cat had scratched her left arm with his sharp claws. "Still think this is a dream Artemis?

"Yes and no. But how do I get back to Hogwarts and how do I come back here when I need to?"

"Aslan will bring you here when needed. Next time, I'll bring you to Aslan's camp to get some training from Oreius. He's an amazing fighter. You'll be learning from the best. And to get back, just walk back into that door. It appears when you're ready to go back."

Artemis turned around and saw a large circular oak door behind her. She looked back but Chess had disappeared, almost as if he had vanished into thin air.

She shrugged it off, opening the door and walking back through it to get to Hogwarts.
